What's with all the hate this game is getting? If you look past the art style, this is a feature, mode and content rich reboot of the original. Its controls, level design and overall gameplay are excellent. And remember, even in the original games, Megaman is actually a KID not a full grown man. If you think this game's voice acting is bad then, you need to play Megaman 8 and hear what bad voice acting actually sounds like.
I think this game still has a great art direction. Classic Mega Man was always cute (and/or) silly. Like look at half of the enemies in the levels, they would be out of place in a serious game lol

I thinks the mm4 prologue tells a more accurate version of the story.
The RMs have different weaknesses to make timeman and oilman fit into the weakness cycle. Timeman and oilman are just to bring up the RM amount to 8 RMs.
this is truly an adorable mega man game remake. to me i feel like i'm seeing the HD style of mega man X"s humble begging like "X" is a child here and as the games series go on, we see this once meek helper bot evolve into "mega man X" or so ive heard from random places.
Alurine Melduene I know that Rock/Megaman isn't "X" but the story can so easily be redone or bented enough where this could be "X" as a child and were seeing him mature until what ever happens to mega man is or will be apart of X now because they both are similar and "X" still has faint memories of the pass of Dr Light building him.I know this isn't the absolute, but its a pretty good idea that would help fill the timeline plot whole.

Wait... this is a long play so of course you do know... but this game is amazing! Some might label me as a kid just by saying that but they can keep all their opinions to themselves... The saddest part about this game is that the sequel never came to be😢... I saw the Powered Up 2 box art and was super hyped but then there it was unreleased... its 2018 now and they made Mega Man 11 so I would hope that they release 9 Powered Up titles and can tell a much more connected story than the original games failed to do mostly because of software limitations... Same flaws of Mega Man 8: voice acting is not so good and music and cutscenes are meh, but overall it IS fun. It's playability is decent, and it has some cool stuff going on like the ability to select the robot masters and different versions of Mega Man (and even Protoman). It's not really a bad game, and for those who blindly criticize the game, please stop rambling, its nonsense since you haven't even played it.

Ignore Anthony. This game focuses on a different universe where his name was Mega instead of Rock. It's kind of the way Spider-Man (2002) and The Amazing Spider-Man (2012) are completely different universes.
I always found it funny that Mega Man and X, are always immune to their own weapons if they are explosive... yet, can take up to a third of the life bar damage if they TOUCH an enemy robot
I like how the Copy Robots of the Robot Masters have completely different voices and battle cries for everything. Especially the character you are playing as.

I think Oil man was removed from one of the games then put back in. But I'm not sure. Either way this is a game geared at younger audiences, and a remake of one of capcom's first titles, it's pretty good for a PSP game anyways.

This game was simply beautiful and challenging. From the animations to the added voices and storyline. One of the best things to come out for the PSP.
