But trying to do an OG Charmed movie on Netflix while the CW still has the Charmed reboot series on the air is a totally different thing. Why on earth would CW ever let someone else make an OG Charmed movie under these circumstances? As much as it sounds like a wonderful thing to do, I see absolutely no way that the CW would allow it to happen.

The four of them need to put any personal indifferences to one side and get those reunion movies in the can. I dont care about their personal feelings for each other they are four actresses who should be able to put magic onscreen for the fans. We deserve a proper ending to the story with Prue getting closure.

Reo J. Saints Ummmmm. After season 8 was over. They continued two more seasons into Comic Form. You can read up on the characters for free on the Charmed Fandom Wiki Page. That’s how I learned what really happened with Prue and more about the kids of the Charmed One’s. Also they made the series into books. But it’s only sort of half canon. The books kind of do their own thing.
I don’t think they should bring her back to life i think it should be more on the lines of how Grams was. She was a ghost but she could still do things.
This would be wonderful (the reboot airing on the CW sucks big time) BUT people, she said that she and Holly talked about the possibility of something coming to Netflix, she didn't say that it may come to netflix. CBS owns the right to the show, not them. I completely agree that the CW capitalized on the name but not the legacy. Its a different show and needs a different name. Bring back the Halliwell sisters!

Nobody!, the OG Charmed was about feminism. The difference was that it wasn’t written badly, so the storyline felt organic. The new Charmed has horrible writing. They make it in your face and they sacrifice character depth and development to shove politics down our throats. P.S. I gave new Charmed half a season of chances to get better because I really wanted to like it. It never improved. It had other problems too, which I won’t go into.

I just finished rewatching the OG Charmed series again (for the millionth time). I would love a movie. To see the original cast and even see the next generation.
That is hilarious. I’m 45 and still watch the reruns every day. I boycotted the new (if you wanna even say that) Charmed. Never have I ever watched the first episode and I NEVER will.
She does look fantastic! It‘s good to hear that Holly & Alyssa are talking about doing something in the future but like some of you already mentioned, the situation is quite twisted.. It‘s true Rose recently said she would be up for it and would hope that Shannen would be a part of it too but the thing is Rose has clearly issues with Alyssa and thinks she‘s a lie and the friendship of Shannen and Holly has fizzeld out, as they‘re not longer on speaking terms together and haven‘t been for years now. Even though their all grown up women and seem to be professionals, it‘s quite hard to imagine all of them to work on the same project with those problems in their way. I guess we‘ll have to wait and see and maybe a little magic, will make things work out in the end.
If they really have issues with each other then they shouldn't even speak on creating any movie or continuation of the OG Charmed because I guarantee you the issues behind the scenes will ruin whatever they make. Will & Grace being a prime example of what issues behind the scenes can do to a good show and now that shows going off air again because two actresses can't get along.

People go to work with people who aren’t their cup of teas everyday and still do their jobs efficiently Alyssa and Shannon didn’t get along none of season three and they played their characters amazingly Shannon & holy don’t even seem to have an active problem they fell out wished each other the best and moved on & even if they did Shannon’s character died so she wouldnt even get that many scenes it would be like how every season we got two episodes of grams coming back from the dead & then dont see her again until next season and rose seem to be beefing with her self & her character & Alyssas character didn’t have that many sisterly scenes anyway towards the end more this is the plan okay now break type of scenes I’m sure she can get over her issues with Alyssa for a few scenes

I really wonder how they wanna continue the story, because of all the future stuff they did on charmed and because of how they've ended it. Of course they can do twists and turns but i really wonder if they will bear in mind what happend on the show or if they do a cut and do new stuff at a certain point of the story. Dany TBH if they’re really serious in reviving Charmed the only way to do that is exactly what Holly pitched in the first place: with the kids, which is also what the OG fans wanted to see. The sisters can then pop in once in a while. Perhaps a movie can be done with the four of them (with Paige finally meeting Prue) maybe helping save the kids save the Halliwell line or something, which will pave the way for a possible series with the kids. Honestly, the kids are so interesting and might have better storylines than the reboot. Piper had 2 sons and a daughter (can’t be Charmed Ones since Charmed Ones are always 3 girls), Phoebe has 3 girls who are all half witch half cupid, and Paige have twins and Henry Jr. and one of them could be a mortal. There’s so much potential in furthering the story but the CW crapped on us.
Well of course the Charmed on the CW had to be a completely different show than the the original one, they pretty much did everything that they was to be done in the original and vanquished every demon by saying, "The Power of Three will set us free". I'm all for seeing the original actresses back, but I don't really know what exactly would be a challenge for the PO3 anymore.
Well, I definitely think the comeback & focus has to be on the sisters. Including the next generation inside the story is fine, and I understand there is a section within the fandom who ship Wyatt & Chris as the next generation but trust me that is just not enough. Compared to the current reboot it would be a MAJOR improvement but not everybody wants that. In fact, their story was airing during the time the original Charmed ratings had already taken a dive. They were extensions to the sisters' story, which is legit, and writing about them inside fanfiction for their part of the fandom is fine but a Charmed movie|movies has to center on the Charmed Ones. Even though I personally liked Billie, that was one of the major critiques about s8 I remember coming from the fandom which was that the focus went off of the sisters and more onto Billie and her sister. I am sure with the right creative inspiration a good writer|writers can conceive an interesting plot for the return of the Charmed Ones in a series of movies. They can play with the timeline and certainly play with the whole Prue & Paige thing as they are a dimension that never got explored onscreen since they never even got to meet.
I don’t understand why the people who own the rights to Charmed are letting all these opportunities pass. Alyssa, Holly, Shannen, and Rose have all said at some point that they’d be on board if there was a Charmed movie, yet nothing has ever materialized. Whoever is in charge should take advantage of the fact they all still look great and are capable of doing the job. Instead, there’s just rumors and awful reboots. The fans clearly want to see them all reunite one last time and have the conclusion they deserved but never got with season 8.

And because he’s future king 🤴 of Magic, it sticks. I think 💭 Wyatt & Chris are necessary for the evaluation of the Show. I think 🤔 they need to give Phoebe back all of her active powers. They can have Paige become an Elder 🧓🏿 who drops in from time to time. Prue, Piper & Phoebe reconstitute the Power of Three. And they adjust to having Prue back & explaining where’s she been to the public. Darrly could come back as a FBI now and he’s had Prue in Witness Protection for years. Not even the sisters 👯♀️ knew.
The four of them need to put any personal indifferences to one side and get those reunion movies in the can. I dont care about their personal feelings for each other they are four actresses who should be able to put magic onscreen for the fans. We deserve a proper ending to the story with Prue getting closure.

Reo J. Saints Ummmmm. After season 8 was over. They continued two more seasons into Comic Form. You can read up on the characters for free on the Charmed Fandom Wiki Page. That’s how I learned what really happened with Prue and more about the kids of the Charmed One’s. Also they made the series into books. But it’s only sort of half canon. The books kind of do their own thing.

I still watch the original( and in my book the only) Charmed every day! There were so many ways they could have continued the series. I hope they bring them back. Including Prue! Nobody!, the OG Charmed was about feminism. The difference was that it wasn’t written badly, so the storyline felt organic. The new Charmed has horrible writing. They make it in your face and they sacrifice character depth and development to shove politics down our throats.
P.S. I gave new Charmed half a season of chances to get better because I really wanted to like it. It never improved. It had other problems too, which I won’t go into.

The plot could be the following: one of Phoebe's kids goes back to the past and changes it so that Prue survives and there are 4 of the sisters living.

It‘s good to hear that Holly & Alyssa are talking about doing something in the future but like some of you already mentioned, the situation is quite twisted.. It‘s true Rose recently said she would be up for it and would hope that Shannen would be a part of it too but the thing is Rose has clearly issues with Alyssa and thinks she‘s a lie and the friendship of Shannen and Holly has fizzeld out, as they‘re not longer on speaking terms together and haven‘t been for years now.
Even though their all grown up women and seem to be professionals, it‘s quite hard to imagine all of them to work on the same project with those problems in their way.
I guess we‘ll have to wait and see and maybe a little magic, will make things work out in the end.
If they really have issues with each other then they shouldn't even speak on creating any movie or continuation of the OG Charmed because I guarantee you the issues behind the scenes will ruin whatever they make. Will & Grace being a prime example of what issues behind the scenes can do to a good show and now that shows going off air again because two actresses can't get along.

People go to work with people who aren’t their cup of teas everyday and still do their jobs efficiently Alyssa and Shannon didn’t get along none of season three and they played their characters amazingly Shannon & holy don’t even seem to have an active problem they fell out wished each other the best and moved on & even if they did Shannon’s character died so she wouldnt even get that many scenes it would be like how every season we got two episodes of grams coming back from the dead & then dont see her again until next season and rose seem to be beefing with her self & her character & Alyssas character didn’t have that many sisterly scenes anyway towards the end more this is the plan okay now break type of scenes I’m sure she can get over her issues with Alyssa for a few scenes

I just saw the Charmed: Destiny Rewritten preview! I bawled my eyes out watching it. The real fans of them deserve this. Thank you so much for giving us hope. I can't bear to watch the remake.
I really wonder how they wanna continue the story, because of all the future stuff they did on charmed and because of how they've ended it. Of course they can do twists and turns but i really wonder if they will bear in mind what happend on the show or if they do a cut and do new stuff at a certain point of the story. But i hope they stick to the shows stories and we could finally see the future with wyatt and chris and I hope the Actors from back then will be there and they don't have to cast new actors for roles we already had actors for. But Netflix?!. Netflix is known for its quantity rather than quality. And the movie(s) should please become good. There are more streaming services. They should look around before they choose Netflix. But if nobody other wants, then Netflix would be better than nothing.
Dany TBH if they’re really serious in reviving Charmed the only way to do that is exactly what Holly pitched in the first place: with the kids, which is also what the OG fans wanted to see. The sisters can then pop in once in a while. Perhaps a movie can be done with the four of them (with Paige finally meeting Prue) maybe helping save the kids save the Halliwell line or something, which will pave the way for a possible series with the kids. Honestly, the kids are so interesting and might have better storylines than the reboot. Piper had 2 sons and a daughter (can’t be Charmed Ones since Charmed Ones are always 3 girls), Phoebe has 3 girls who are all half witch half cupid, and Paige have twins and Henry Jr. and one of them could be a mortal. There’s so much potential in furthering the story but the CW crapped on us.

Well of course the Charmed on the CW had to be a completely different show than the the original one, they pretty much did everything that they was to be done in the original and vanquished every demon by saying, "The Power of Three will set us free". I'm all for seeing the original actresses back, but I don't really know what exactly would be a challenge for the PO3 anymore.
The focus should be on the next generation of charmed but the original guiding them
Well, I definitely think the comeback & focus has to be on the sisters. Including the next generation inside the story is fine, and I understand there is a section within the fandom who ship Wyatt & Chris as the next generation but trust me that is just not enough. Compared to the current reboot it would be a MAJOR improvement but not everybody wants that. In fact, their story was airing during the time the original Charmed ratings had already taken a dive. They were extensions to the sisters' story, which is legit, and writing about them inside fanfiction for their part of the fandom is fine but a Charmed movie|movies has to center on the Charmed Ones. Even though I personally liked Billie, that was one of the major critiques about s8 I remember coming from the fandom which was that the focus went off of the sisters and more onto Billie and her sister.
I am sure with the right creative inspiration a good writer|writers can conceive an interesting plot for the return of the Charmed Ones in a series of movies. They can play with the timeline and certainly play with the whole Prue & Paige thing as they are a dimension that never got explored onscreen since they never even got to meet.
I don’t understand why the people who own the rights to Charmed are letting all these opportunities pass. Alyssa, Holly, Shannen, and Rose have all said at some point that they’d be on board if there was a Charmed movie, yet nothing has ever materialized. Whoever is in charge should take advantage of the fact they all still look great and are capable of doing the job. Instead, there’s just rumors and awful reboots. The fans clearly want to see them all reunite one last time and have the conclusion they deserved but never got with season 8.
