Yes. The Q is on the side. I believe all the trucks should do that. It helps to control the siren and in non emergency responses if putt in the right spot can actually prevent being accidentally hit by ur foot which happens more often then not.
Tower ladder 3 responds from the station that is in an office building downtown. They are stationed with engine 10, rescue 1 and I think the tunnel collapse unit
Went there for a recruitment thing last year and they are all a bunch of great guys. We got to be in there back of rescue 1 and they got a couple calls while we were there! So badass
We also got to hang out in the alarm room where they get the calls with a firefighter cause we had gotten to the firehouse early. He was a full of info. Good bunch of jakes they are
Stay safe in a fire appliance that No ONE can see AND NO ONE can hear coming at a speed far to fast!! That's what we were told when we had 10 blue lights on , headlights flash on and off with a syren and two tone horns sounding. Conclusion is that there head is up there are blocking the eyes with shit and the ears also. Result Its not my fault!!! Stay safe every one..
I like the way people from Boston say "chowder".
0:41 music to my ears
Lol
deserve a medal just for dealing with the traffic and fools running in front of them.
They actually do a great job at clearing downtown traffic!
Love that they still have the actual air sirens

Fort Hill Square.
Great video! Just a little like riding with Columbus Engine 7 on High St.
That fantastic emergency vehicle operation!
Good driver! Drives like a human……. Stay safe BFD
You have the press a button. Their are different buttons for different sirens and a button for a horn.
Excellent video!
Cool video Roger ! I see your downtown traffic sucks as much as downtown Detroit traffic too ! Stay safe bro !
Yeah most trucks in the BFD have them where his arm is instead of on the floorboard.
is their a switch or button the Lt. is using for the Federal Q?It just seems everytime his left arm goes up he is hitting something for the Q.
the truck went right by where i work. nice
Excelente saludos desde Costa Rica
do u have to push a button for the other siren to come on or do it come on automatically
Watch the officer's left arm. Every time he reaches for something on the dash you hear the q siren. The other siren is activated by a switch
Old L-26 had them on the door.
Nice
