These drills are great! I've seen a handful foot agility drills but none as it pertained to foot position for striking. Awesome explanation and demo. Love it! Look forward to more.
Many thanks for posting your videos. This one and the dominick Cruz footwork video are great. Any other movement drills? Watching you move, I see a mix of different styles - what styles have you trained in? Do you compete?
Hi Emerson Would love if u make a video about flexibility and how to improve kicks and to them go higher with fluidity I am assuming that your background in martial arts from teakwondo I hold a 2nd degree blackbelt in Kyokushin Karate and Aikido but still my kicks aren't high and fluid like i want them to be Thnx again for great videos
+Yahya Sangora Thats a great idea! I have a few things that I do during pretty much every workout session that may help. I'll do my best to get around to it. I did a lot of TKD in my early years of training, but I believe what I have been doing since then has really made them more fluid. Martial arts tricking is also a big contributor to my kicking flow.
+Eric Stolte How are ya!? Yea, I love those spats. Mantousa.com. Martial arts is the number one way I choose to train myself. I need workouts that challenge not only the body, but also the mind. It's not enough to just pump iron.
Hey what is the first kick that you did in your little kicking montage at the beginning? Jon Jones did it once in his training video but I don't know the name of it
I call it an inverted round kick. Its a surprising kick but doesn't have a whole lot of power. Great to mix things up and keep your opponent guessing :)
