This was one of several videos I recorded and sent to the Entertainment Department, per the request of my District Manager at the time. This was to showcase the store and show. This video contains the concept art and near final set design for Chuck E's stage in the "Playroom" set. The original show audio has been added per the request of many fans (Audio credit to Pizzacam on RUclips).
I just love how Chuck looked, that latex mask did a good job.
I was a big fan and supporter of the 2nd generation latex mask as seen in this video.
@VideoGame Nostalgia No, both the 1st and 2nd generation latex masks were sculpted and created by the late Dave Thomas who had been a previous employee of CEI.
@VideoGame Nostalgia Yes, the work I did at Mobile, AL did get the attention of many people in the corporation which eventually led to me becoming Studio Manager of Entertainment for the company.
What ever happen, to the molds?
@@carlomalijan8001 the molds for the masks were destroyed by dave thomas as he said they weren't being used again
If this stage still existed imagine how many fans would steal from chuck E 's shelves
I absolutely love playroom stage helen- like her cheerleading outfit is just amazing!
Omg me toooooo!!!!
This is literally the perfect stage for CEC. It would’ve been awesome if they made it permanent for all stages…
Ok not alllll stages but most I'd be ok with
these stages were amazing. sad to see techs dont care anymore and neither does cec
@Olivia 757 This! There are a few great techs out there that are apart of the community. If they could all somehow get together and make a video or something to help anyone trying to maintain the remaining animatronics, it could be an amazing resource.
Surreal seeing the actual stage. For years, all I thought we had was the concept art.
These voice actors make this footage feel like a strange fever dream. Wonder what happened in the studio with that
a serious urge to make chuck e and the gang sound less “kiddy” i guess
CEC enterprises where partnering with Disney at that time. That’s why Jasper sounds like bill farmer and goofy. Since there both dogs.
@@MatthewPrower Which rarely happened until 2014.
Maybe it was temporary?
This is just... u have some talent for stages man, i wish Madison got treatment like Mobil AL
Thank you!
0:42 the best cec song ever
Song name?
You’re spoiling us too well Brian , lol, thank you very much
Thank you for the nice comment.
Oh man! Finally we can see this stage in action!
That stage is amazing!
Thank you!
Love the footage
Thank you!
I want to point out that Chuck e. Is now wearing shoes. Finally.
hey look it's coach chuck in action!
Damn, they made an awesome stage
Awesome video
Thanks!
Glad this is now dubbed with the show audio!
that fan on the wall looks like a childrens hazard lol
OMG I love this!!!! 😮🎉❤😊
Nice!
the outfits are amazing. did you tailor them yourself? very impressive.
He did make them by himself and it’s pretty cool he brought some of the art you see in the ads and merchandise because they had the original 90s looks
I worked on most all of the outfits. There were a few complex patterns that I had a seamstress help finalize.
PERFECT
Cool Chuck
That football on chuck e’s stage I saw that at a thrift store a couple of years ago… probably should have got it.
0:05 Female Announcer: Ladies And Gentlemen, Girls and Boys, Please Welcome Your Favorite Mouse In Mine, Chuck E. Cheese!
In mine 😍
This is the closest we’ll get to the CU prototype stage
Wow! Are you the one who decorated this iconic stage?
I hope the guys behind retromation can do a build of the coach Chuck E.
Imagine chuck e cheese being your coach
Awesome january 1996 prerecorded retro Rock-afire Explosion show/Munch's Make Believe Band wanna be look. That's a talent not everybody has. It's a shame not all cu three stages had those customized different looks to them.
Who noticed Helen has Pom Pom’s
👇
Weird seeing a 3 stage Chuck look so skinny
Perfect mask for chuck, they should have used it over the plasics in my opinion.
And This Is My Local
This was back in Disney collab era so no wonder some of the voices are weird
That makes sense!
looking at this i’m starting to wonder if you also a made a coach outfit for the chuck e walkaround
That was in the works, but never made it past a few patterns before I moved to the Corporate Entertainment Department.
All of them have singing voices
Who sings for Helen Henny that year
I’d love to see the other animatronics on this stage if you have the footage that is
I actually never had the chance to get video of the completed full set but I did take pictures of it. You can see all the photos of this stage and my other sets in this video slideshow on my channel. ruclips.net/p/PL_ZufUMzoYwpzWQtgC8a5H1vPwm02EVBF
@@brianhagan thank you!!
2:25
Bronhelen has the Mitzi pom poms
1:57 you could see a cyberamic animatronic Chuck picture behind Chuck E. Cheese
I see
helen’s voice.
Is this a show tape ?
1:46 I see a tux helen plush
Do you have any footage of going on a diet? (lost avenger show tape)
He stopped working by then sadly that will probably be public
Hey brian who voice was that for chuck e
I wish they could’ve found something for Chuck E to stand on. He looks weird that tall. Otherwise awesome.
Does anyone know the name of the song they are singing?
1:57 what kind of poster is that ?
HELLEN SOUNDS LIKE ZOEY FROM ELMO
One question, has the propeller ever malfunctioned and not worked when this show was originally made?
I never had an issue with it.
Looks like one of those airplane propeller ceiling fans from the 90s. Home Depot used to sell them.
@@mr.tomraypaz6085 i have that exact fan in my house
No way…
What ever happened to chucks coach outfit he is wearing in the video?
I am assuming it was thrown away at some point once I was no longer at that location.
What year was this recorded?
This video was recorded in early 1996
@@brianhagan woah 🤯 that was when before I was even born.
Just wondering do you have eny photos of the interior like games and stuff if possible could you release em? Currently rebuilding this on a game and would love more information about the games and stuff from this location since all we Currently know about hoe this location looks int he 90s is the stage
Mitzi: U STOLE MAH SPOTLIGHT 👺👺👺
Edit: Lol im late
Hi where you ever worried about that chuck could have hit the fan?
Thanks for your question. Honestly no, because the mechanics for both we not located near each other in any way. He could not physically reach the fan.
@@brianhagan oh ok thanks
Is that a game ?
What mech did chuck use it looks like a spare Helen mech
He uses Rolfe, with a new arm, that removes Earl.
Why was the 2nd gen latex mask even made to resemble the mascot more?
Thanks for a great question. We were trying to more unify the appearance with the artwork of the character and the walkaround costume. It was even more refined when the plastic masks were developed for the 3-Stage shows.
As shown on 2:50-2:53 and who voice Chuck E. Cheese?
The voice of CEC is Duncan Brannon they had him speaking in his CEC voice and singing in his natural voice during this time.
@@brianhagan you mean duncan Brennan.
Can you reedit this showing chucks curtain closing also please
That is correct, if the complete audio ever resurfaces, I'll be happy to update the video.
@@brianhagan it did
Is this the concept unification prototype staage?
Thanks for your question. This is not the C.U. prototype stage. These are prototypes I designed after C.U. had been rolled out to all 3-Stage shows.
Whoever designed chucks latex mask back then should have been kicked in the nuts.. and fired. Cause its creepy as hell. Lol
Is this real?
Yes, this was a real 3-stage show set in 1996.
😎
Could you add some lyrics
0:17 why is chuck sounds different
The voice of CEC is Duncan Brannon they had him speaking in his CEC voice and singing in his natural voice during this time.
@@brianhagan just as I suspected. He sounds amazing! Just not at all fit for chuck e.
@@brianhagan I actually have to ask, just to double check, are you sure this voice isn’t Jeff Cosco? It sounds quite different.
@@FreeSpiritPauletteThat could be Duncan singing in his natural voice.
