ONE 60amp solar controller for 1400w of solar is a massive limiter on the power that is capable of being produced and a significant amount of solar energy has been lost to the never never as a result. 1400w of solar on an MPPT controller can (when the batteries are almost fully depleted (or even at an SoC of 20%) would produce almost TWICE what the controller will allow as it’s output. Enerdrive’s 300aH batteries for example have a low voltage cut out at 11.2v. The MPPT controller therefore would be converting the 1400w (assuming the panels were at this point in time producing their full capability) and excluding conversion losses, 125amps. However, being a 60amp solar controller you’ve wasted a truckload of what it should be producing. This is an enigma for me that both Enerdrive and / or Bush Tracker have allowed this!!?
Wow, great to see Bushtracker have managed to do what no other manufacturers can.....produce a van with a payload of 990kg, in a 3500kg rated van with a Tare of 2960kg....The huge price is justified right there.....
Certainly an unreal van. Bushtracker certainly dont compromise on quality. But in a world without fossil fuels the van would be solo with nothing to tow it, and it certainly wouldn't have batteries or solar as we need fossil fuels to make them and infact without fossil fuels the van itself wouldn't exist
A beautiful and quality van, as far as I can see, electrify is the next trend for the off road vans.

Yep . . . these reviewers really know their stuff 😂
Nice 👍 you truly pay for what you get.
Another good saying is that quality is remembered long after price is forgotten. It's a quality van!

It’s built around the corner from me

Today yes, tomorrow? (well a few years maybe!). There are utes coming that would be able to tow a big van but then the issue becomes charging.
