This is the first one of these attractions that actually begins to approach actual haunted house material. It’s still not scary, but it’s a step in the right direction at least.
Bro, people shining their flash lights in these things should be just an automatic removal from the grounds tbh. It's so freaking stupid, you're spoiling the whole experience for yourself and even worse, the people around you.
How fun!! We haven’t done a haunted hayride in decades. We are from Saratoga NY, where we went every year but since moving here we didn’t know Florida had one. But without cider donuts….😢
It's always fun to go to a haunted farm and hay ride. I went to the haunted farm Denver Downs here in Anderson South Carolina. They used a bus to get you there but the bus was blacked out and the people that scared you would be in the back seats. I sat in front of one of them and felt him bump my arm as he was getting up. Crazy as this sounds but that adventure was for a friend of mine it was the night before he got married and we went there lol. It was fun regardless I love this time of year
I have only been to the Hay Ride at Shocktoberfest (UK) and what I noticed is that the actors actually climb onto the carriage, chainsaws everywhere, many dark areas where scare jumps happen at your level - it is a lot more intense. But we don’t have the walk-throughs in the end and I thought that part was very good because it’s so vast and the eerie atmosphere is great.
A good start but still rough around the edges. Something I noticed throughout, is that somebody will be giving pre-recorded dialogue through a speaker, and another scare actor will be trying to deliver spoken dialogue over them, making it harder to hear both. Your jumping scarecrows would be more effective if they weren't going off before the tractor even reached them. 6:37 Your chainsaw actor doesn't seem to be nearly as in to it as the woman is; it might have been more interesting to have him behind the tractor and slowly lumber up towards the back as you pull away (and then at the end have people with chainsaws get up close and terrorize people). The pumpkin arch section was really cool. Only reason I say all this is because I see a lot of potential and will probably be looking forward to seeing how it improves each year.
There’s definitely still a bit of fine tuning before we open to the grand public but that’s where we learn to grow and improve! Always appreciate constructive and thorough criticism and suggestions 🙌
@@OddballExplorations Oh and if you have time to travel, take a look at the Wilmington Haunted Hollow Ride (you ride in a bus with the top half cut off) and Spooky Ranch's hayride near Cleveland -- both in Ohio. They're watered down a bit from their OG glory but they nail the proximity of puppets/fx to wagon. Could provide some inspiration. You have alot going for you at Sir Henry's. As I said in my other message, I wanna see you grow and destroy HHN's reputation... even more than THEY do!
Wow, some of these "actress" kind of actually give an amazing choreography like at 12:12, but then this guy just destroys it all with his "Roar" at 12:52. 😂
Those scare actresses must be new, they haven't learned yet that you can't scream at the top of your lungs for two months straight 😂 You gotta learn how to say your scary dialogue without screaming the whole time, that's how you hurt yourself.
this is really cool to watch, especially the moonlight massacre trail. i've never been through a haunt that spans this far! i am a little nervous for these actors' voices though. i worked in houses for years & screaming like this is so taxing on the body and vocals! you can convey emotion like this without overworking your vocals through this much screaming, i hope they'll be careful and take care of themselves throughout the rest of the run! great stuff from sir henry's though, there are some really talented people here that are cool to watch :)
The tractor seems too loud. Screaming women don't scare me, the quiet ones do. Looks like fun for the kids, we'll do this one in a week or so, my 7 year old will have a fit.
In the moonlight massacre one did that guy really just pull down the slide wooden window and just give us a mild yell with no scary face paint on or anything scary? Just looked like a normal Jerry yelling at his mom to get him more pizza rolls 🤣 Edit: Nvmn the whole thing is cringe... 😶

I scare for a trail in Louisiana. We're very scary.
Have you seen the Los Angeles Haunted Hayride? They change stuff often. I think the people on giant bendy poles were so cool
Hi

@@DaveJansenTPV I think that he only turned on his light for a second because his camera needed to focus
@@ralelunar It was fine because it was only them, i was talking about when this happens in a regular group.
I bet they raised alot of money for the schools and many organizations .
Alot of volunteers help with scares and many tasks .

Gosh..safe to say that this is by far the scariest😳
nah there things even scaryier than this. most of it just peeples in dress up costumes , animatronics and bloody props no offennse or anything .

i’m one of the actors in this and it’s definitely possible 😂!! but ofc new actors have to work on vocals and how to control their volume and voice
@@Ash-zy1xz best of luck this season! Have a great Halloween!

Bo Peep reminds me of the vampire sisters from Resident Evil 8, I love it!
I like the idea but needs more work to make it better, maybe I will check this out this year when I go to Orlando for HHN.
Man I'm lucky I live 13 minutes from reapers. They even get on th3 hayride and pull you around.
Where is reapers?

Halloween is the year i can enter through the shadow welm
The scarey part of this is how bad these Florida actors are.......
Not to be rude or anything but at least we try. It’s not like you could do better.

Sorry, it's no HHN.
Imagine being so mentally disturbed irl that being a scare actor at halloween is the only job you can hold down 😂
I'm a scare actor but it's a volunteer job I do for fun only on weekends.
They could just be really good actors. Why call them "mentally disturbed"?
Yo first pin
no
I'm not going to watch this video again. It's too much for me to handle.
