Just got mine yesterday. I am surprised how lightweight they feel on my ears and the transparency mode is so good!! The ANC is alright, not the best but not the worst either. What I like the most are the pressure vents on the back that gives this “airy” feeling to music, kind of like open back headphones. This design is so rare with earbuds that it’s crazy how companies have not copied it yet.
Do you experience that crackling/static sound issue? I'm planning on getting a pair but I'm a bit hesitant because of these issues. Should I just wait if Apple announces the rumored Airpods pro 2? I'm fine with using wired earpods for now since my 2nd gen finally broke
@@Emma-ju7rr I don’t experience any crackling sounds. I was thinking of waiting for AirPods Pro 2 but that is still some months away and I wanted something right now since my old cheap buds were giving up on me. If you are fine with your current earphones, then just wait for AirPods Pro 2

If anyone is wondering, I've tried Sony's buds, and I own AirPods Pros, here's my two cents for anyone planning to buy earbuds: -Comfort: by far the most important aspect, you want them to stay still. Sadly Sony buds couldn't do that even with the many different tip choices they had. They're bulkier, kept falling out occasionally, and they failed the gym test, whereas Apple's stayed in place even upside down, sometimes while sleeping too. Another problem with Sony, is that if you want to fix your buds or push them in a little, you will end up pressing some buttons on it (like switching modes or accident, or pause/play), never the issue with miss clicking AirPods Pro stem controls. -Case: Apple easily wins this one, I couldn't fit Sony's case in my tight jeans, the AirPods Pro case is half the size if I'm not wrong. -Sound: Now they're both expensive, so it makes sense that they both deliver the good quality, and they do, though I will say Sony's had more punch to it when it comes to bass. -Noise cancellation/transparency: better on Apple, still good enough for Sony to fly on a plane comfortably. Extra: I've had issues with the Sony's randomly disconnecting, enough times to dislike them after 2 weeks. Also few friends who also bought Apple's buds enjoy them a lot :)

I agree, but for that money you could get some noice cancelling headphones from other brands, just as good or even better than AirPods , with much longer lifespan. If your battery dies, you can plug a cable and they’ll work. And most importantly, you can buy and replace a new battery yourself, with AirPods its impossible. Just something to consider, since nobody talks about how 250-300 pods will be dead in less than 3 years, some times, less than 2 years.
@@JaneParkerBowls They use lithium-ion battery, which lifespan is around 500 charge cycles, make your maths and you’ll see that at best they could last 3 years with heavy use. I’ve seen this by experience btw, happened with my first and second gen AirPods, both last around 2 years before they would last just around 30-40 minutes of music and then having to charge again, which adds even more cycles and less battery life. Just something to take into account since it is impossible to change the batteries and i mean it, not even apple does it because of how hard it can be, if you problems with batteries they’ll just replace the AirPods or well, you have to buy another ones.
They are quite pricey but I really enjoy mine. Noice cancellation on a bus is a dream but I really wouldn’t bother upgrading from regular ones. Main reason for me is I didn’t mind throwing them in my bag but with my pros I’m scared to even put them in a pocket in case they pick up lint 😂
I'm an android user user with Airpods pro's. They work great when coupled with Wavelet for equalization and Assistant Trigger for battery level and other features. I also have Sony WF1000XM3 and Galaxy Bud plus. For simple home music listening, or travelling, the Sony's are my goto's since their sound is awesome but for all other the Airpods are it. I hate the plugged feeling I get with other earbuds such as the Galaxy buds or the Jabra's 75T (i tried them as well) and I don't get that with the Sony's or the Airpods. Also the transparent (ambient) modes are better for those two. The Galaxy buds ambiant mode is robotic and annoying. For sound, i would say the buds are close to the Airpods but with equallization, the Airpods beat them. I like the airiness. I'm not a big base head so of course, that is subjective. For me the portability as well as all the other aspects of the Airpods make it my first choice when on the go.
I got the AirPods 1st and 2nd gen still. Both in practically brand new condition: still just fine to me lol. But thinking about trying the newest ones if they have better sound
Using them right now they sound good and work good but they have some connection issues and now after maybe 6 months of usage one of them doesn't charge anymore so I have one earsbud left
I have the liberty 2 “there not the pros” and it’s one of the best earbuds I have ever heard. The bass isn’t overbearing and the mid and highs are incredible. Plus is the Soundcore app you get to use a customizable equalizer. It’s damn near perfect in my eyes and I’m satisfied.
I just bought mine last friday and I think I’ll never change again like for more years. I really love that and the balance of the sound ❤️ Anc and transparency specially is god tier.

I don’t think there would be drastic decrease in price on AirPods Pro as the price now just hovers from the original price more than a year ago. When iPhone 12s rolled out iPhone 11 prices remained marginal. The price of AirPods Pro 2 will be made quite high but lower than the max model. This move will justify AirPods Pro 1 slight decrease in price.
Try the AirPods pro with iOS 15 beta 3. Huge improvements. You get the addition of spatial stereo and not just the spatial Dolby atmos. Really big difference. And with apples upgrade of their music quality. I can now for the first time recommend these little beauties. Still not the best sounding. But from an overall integration with the apple ecosystem you will not find better.
@@WrennNsix I’m not sure. I listen to mostly rap and always had the EQ setting on late night. I just switched it to hip hop and noticed the bass is much better. You can feel the punch in it
It sucks because I used these almost every single day ever since they launched the AirPod pros but now they hiss, sometimes they make that static noise you get from when you get fuzzy screen on your TV, and they fall out of my ears a lot more often than you would think (my ears are pretty clean and I even clean the AirPods almost daily). I’m a college student so I wear them around campus or rather when I would be on zoom calls this past semester and a half, and I wear them to the gym nearly every single day (sweat doesn’t really get on them but I still wipe them in the middle and after my sessions). I love them, I really do, but they’re pricey and like I said I’m a college student so I don’t exactly have the money the replace the AirPods themselves or buy a new pair. Not sure why I even typed this but I’ve just needed to let this go somewhere since I’ve had them for like two years almost…or more? Who knows. Anyways if you read this all thanks lol

Should i buy these? im getting a student discount on these when i buy the iPad Pro. Im getting the regular ones for free which i think are completly useless compared to my Powerbeats Pro but if i pay £90 i can get the airpods pro. Im tempted to mainly because of the ANC and like you said its not always easy to carry around headphones(QC35s in my case). Would like someones thoughts, not really an apple person anymore so im not super up to date with all their stuff that isnt Mac or Ipad related. Main reason i ask this is because its £90 so not sure if thats worth it or not, the RRP is defo not worth it but maybe this discounted price is?

I just got mine a week ago too, can you help me with a question? all the articles online are kinda old Can you tell me what noises exactly the ANC blocks out? because mine juts muffles the voices and I can still hear simple sounds like me tapping on a table and hear people talking to me normally (without playing anything) but when I play a video or music, I can’t tell theat much of a diff between ANC and OFF mode because all that’s blocking the noises outside is just the audio coming from whatever is playing Do you think mine is broken? @@CloudMeka I tried to edit my answer but i deleted it accidentally but as i can explain about anc on the airpods is that they are soo good blocking white noise as a airplane's engine or a vehicle's engine (Not totally but most of the sound is supressed) but things like tapping a table the AirPods cannot handle that kind of sound because anc works with some latency and a "taps or clicks" are too fast to anc mics to block that sounds
I just got them and love them but they fell out twice so far with the small and medium tips now trying the large if that doesn’t keep them in I will return

I got the AirPods Pro for my birthday on Thursday May 27th 2021 my mom got them for me and I love them they are awesome I use them too listen to music and I use them for calls and watching RUclips videos I have the iPhone se 2020 and the Apple Watch series 3 and the iPhone 7 I don’t use anymore
@@mori2695 to be completely transparent. I fucking love them. Are they worth the price? I feel like these would be a good $100 pair of earbuds. Maybe even $150. But the $250 tag is definitely overpriced. Now, I’m not using them for music. I’m in HVAC. In the field, these work really well for me. I can listen to podcasts and when I want, I can noise cancel. If I need to hear, I can switch it so I can hear what’s around me while still listening to pods. Also, I do like that Siri reads messages out to me or tells me who’s calling. I’ve never had that before and I like that feature. Also, the case chargers the buds very quickly. I basically will have them in, and when they’re low, I put them in the case while doing things that I don’t want them in for. Like talking to customers or coworkers. I still feel weird having them in while face to face with someone, even though I can hear them. It feels rude lol. They never fall out l, which was a problem I had with the OG Apple EarPods. I hated those. These stay in, even when sleeping. (I listen to dark ambient music to sleep) The case is super slick in my pocket also. Never have trouble removing them. Downsides. Price and I’ve already had a situation where one bud didn’t charge. Only one time, but that was annoying. Like I said. I love them. I don’t think they’re $250 though. They’re probably buds out there that sound better for music for less, but again, that’s not what I’m using them for. Edit: I should say that these are my first wireless earbuds. I’ve always had wired ones before and those always got caught on something. Maybe that’s why I’m so high on these.
I bought the Bose QC today and I’m very disappointed because I’m hearing loud white noise in the left ear bud. After further investigation, it seems this is a very common issue even after replacements. I’m just gonna get the air pods pro. Currently returning the QC’s rn
Great handling by Apple. I can’t believe you want to replace your functioning EarPod? In times of environmental destruction we should just throw away fully functional equipment? All brands have issues sometimes. Canon, Nikon, Apple et c. What sets a company apart is how they solve the problem.
I got the crackling really badly in my left pod after a year. (purchased in Nov 2019) It was replaced but now the right one has the same problem. I will also say that as someone with small/weird ear canals, the AirPods tend to just fall out of my ear after an hour of wear or so, especially with movement or if I am lying on one side. I now have Raycons, but do miss the ANC and transparency mode.

Does the active noise cancellation of Airpods Pro COMPLETELY BLOCK all the background noise? Or it depends on how loud the noise are? @CV Q I just got my Pros. I had Raycon E55 and they were cool for the bass but I don’t like being completely cut off from the outside world. I got the Pros for the mic quality for my Zooms. When transparency is off you can’t hear anything until the music stops. It is a pretty cool feature.
100% Yes, I have no regrets of my purchase. I use them everyday and are incredibly useful in public areas. Tho I think if you have a Samsung phone you'd be better off with the galaxy buds. Nonetheless they are great and I will definitely be copping the airpods pro 3 when they drop.
My macbook dropped at table height with a case and it still dented the aluminium body. Till then I stopped buying apple product cause it cost a bomb to replace it..
I have been using the airpods first gen. for about two years and the case has so many scratches from me dropping it and theres something on the inside of my case but i am not able to remove without making any scratches.. so I'm planning on buying the airpods pro as you can clearly tell, my first gen. airpods has worn out but the airpods pro is pretty expensive and the airpods pro 2 will come out some time so i dont know if i should wait for the airpods 2 to come out so i can but the airpods pro for much cheaper or if i should just but it right jow
My AirPods 2 are the best fitting ear buds I have ever had, sound, bass etc is so rich compared to any other headphones (way better sound than the pro max headphones for example) sounds like I am very lucky in that respect. I am hesitant to get the AirPods pro due to the silicone tips, they never fit me (small ear canals I think). Might have to pop to the Apple store and see if they have some try on options.
Honestly, they have made there worth speak for themselves. The great part was apple replaced both my earbuds after my first year of use because they had a crunch sound but the new buds I got i hope will last longer then a year. I wish they gave me a new battery case because i have had to charge the case more often then I do the buds themselves. I recently got the XM4’s and these are still my go to for RUclips watching and light music listening. The Sony’s sound is better but that’s only because of the size. Honestly, will not upgrade to the the next gen AirPod pros because I know apple will increase the price and the improvements will be very minor. Especially if they don’t add colors.

Try a smaller ear pice it also happend with me
I might be too late but look up foam ear tips. They fix this problem for most people

Should i buy these? im getting a student discount on these when i buy the iPad Pro. Im getting the regular ones for free which i think are completly useless compared to my Powerbeats Pro but if i pay £90 i can get the airpods pro. Im tempted to mainly because of the ANC and like you said its not always easy to carry around headphones(QC35s in my case). Would like someones thoughts, not really an apple person anymore so im not super up to date with all their stuff that isnt Mac or Ipad related.
Main reason i ask this is because its £90 so not sure if thats worth it or not, the RRP is defo not worth it but maybe this discounted price is?

@@gizmanyonis3560 i did yeah, they are really great for £90 and features u get. There is no chance in hell they are worth the RRP its ridiculous that apple charge that and people buy them for that price, still prefer my powerbeats pro as the ear hook is unbeatable and they are worth the RRP imo

make sure your airpods aren’t too deep in your ear make sure it sits comfortably in your ear
I think the Jabra's are the closest to the Airpods Pro. Better sound quality for sure, but misses out on the unique features of Apple's ecosystem.

Can you tell me what noises exactly the ANC blocks out? because mine juts muffles the voices and I can still hear simple sounds like me tapping on a table and hear people talking to me normally (without playing anything)
but when I play a video or music, I can’t tell theat much of a diff between ANC and OFF mode because all that’s blocking the noises outside is just the audio coming from whatever is playing

but as i can explain about anc on the airpods is that they are soo good blocking white noise as a airplane's engine or a vehicle's engine (Not totally but most of the sound is supressed) but things like tapping a table the AirPods cannot handle that kind of sound because anc works with some latency and a "taps or clicks" are too fast to anc mics to block that sounds

I just got them and love them but they fell out twice so far with the small and medium tips now trying the large if that doesn’t keep them in I will return
I tried all the tips, all the “specialty” tips and resorted to wings. Returned them to the store. Not worth the hassle

i find people compare air buds with bulky headphones i think that for how small and for how good the noise cancel is it’s worth it if you have to compare with big bulky headphones
When Apple replaced only one of your AirPods , it’s a real pita. I’m sure that the left side would die much faster then your new right AirPods.
You have to tell them that both buds are broken 🤧 even if they are not because the replacement buds are better built.
I got the AirPods Pro for my birthday on Thursday May 27th 2021 my mom got them for me and I love them they are awesome I use them too listen to music and I use them for calls and watching RUclips videos I have the iPhone se 2020 and the Apple Watch series 3 and the iPhone 7 I don’t use anymore

@@mori2695 to be completely transparent. I fucking love them. Are they worth the price? I feel like these would be a good $100 pair of earbuds. Maybe even $150. But the $250 tag is definitely overpriced.
Now, I’m not using them for music. I’m in HVAC. In the field, these work really well for me. I can listen to podcasts and when I want, I can noise cancel. If I need to hear, I can switch it so I can hear what’s around me while still listening to pods.
Also, I do like that Siri reads messages out to me or tells me who’s calling. I’ve never had that before and I like that feature.
Also, the case chargers the buds very quickly. I basically will have them in, and when they’re low, I put them in the case while doing things that I don’t want them in for. Like talking to customers or coworkers. I still feel weird having them in while face to face with someone, even though I can hear them. It feels rude lol.
They never fall out l, which was a problem I had with the OG Apple EarPods. I hated those. These stay in, even when sleeping. (I listen to dark ambient music to sleep)
The case is super slick in my pocket also. Never have trouble removing them.
Downsides. Price and I’ve already had a situation where one bud didn’t charge. Only one time, but that was annoying.
Like I said. I love them. I don’t think they’re $250 though. They’re probably buds out there that sound better for music for less, but again, that’s not what I’m using them for.
Edit: I should say that these are my first wireless earbuds. I’ve always had wired ones before and those always got caught on something. Maybe that’s why I’m so high on these.

All brands have issues sometimes. Canon, Nikon, Apple et c. What sets a company apart is how they solve the problem.
I got the crackling really badly in my left pod after a year. (purchased in Nov 2019) It was replaced but now the right one has the same problem. I will also say that as someone with small/weird ear canals, the AirPods tend to just fall out of my ear after an hour of wear or so, especially with movement or if I am lying on one side. I now have Raycons, but do miss the ANC and transparency mode.
I have the E55 and the mic quality was bad. I got the Pros for my Zooms and Raycon for working out. I will say the transparency mode is cool

Does the active noise cancellation of Airpods Pro COMPLETELY BLOCK all the background noise? Or it depends on how loud the noise are? @CV Q I just got my Pros. I had Raycon E55 and they were cool for the bass but I don’t like being completely cut off from the outside world. I got the Pros for the mic quality for my Zooms. When transparency is off you can’t hear anything until the music stops. It is a pretty cool feature.

100% Yes, I have no regrets of my purchase. I use them everyday and are incredibly useful in public areas. Tho I think if you have a Samsung phone you'd be better off with the galaxy buds. Nonetheless they are great and I will definitely be copping the airpods pro 3 when they drop.

They are, when he went to take the rubber tip off it wouldn’t come off, this is because fake AirPods Pro’s do not have replaceable tips
My macbook dropped at table height with a case and it still dented the aluminium body. Till then I stopped buying apple product cause it cost a bomb to replace it..

My AirPods 2 are the best fitting ear buds I have ever had, sound, bass etc is so rich compared to any other headphones (way better sound than the pro max headphones for example) sounds like I am very lucky in that respect. I am hesitant to get the AirPods pro due to the silicone tips, they never fit me (small ear canals I think). Might have to pop to the Apple store and see if they have some try on options.
First gen AirPods also fit me very well, and the AirPods Pro do too. Neither are going to fall out of my ear from even extreme head movement.

Honestly, they have made there worth speak for themselves. The great part was apple replaced both my earbuds after my first year of use because they had a crunch sound but the new buds I got i hope will last longer then a year. I wish they gave me a new battery case because i have had to charge the case more often then I do the buds themselves. I recently got the XM4’s and these are still my go to for RUclips watching and light music listening. The Sony’s sound is better but that’s only because of the size. Honestly, will not upgrade to the the next gen AirPod pros because I know apple will increase the price and the improvements will be very minor. Especially if they don’t add colors.
With Sony, if your earbuds need returning, they will replace the whole package including the case. Not just one earbud.
@@SonnyDey99 it's ok honestly because the case didn't have an issue so it's ok. I charge the case on my wireless charger when I use the buds so the case never goes to 0.
