With the mid tower ward, I like to trick enemies whenever I play a hero with increased night vision (bane, slark, etc) The tower starts hitting them, however there’s no observer there, so they usually waste a sentry or two
as a former league player, i just love the sheer complexity of dota's mechanics. there's just so many things to learn, things to "exploit"... the average player cannot be aware of everything at once. some players will know and use a strategy while some will use another one etc. in league, i'd say there's so little stuff to be aware of that every player just knows everything about the game after just a few matches. and as for what people aren't aware of, there isn't really any punishing in the average brackets. i just can't get enough, i need to learn more dota.
U cappin’, rn I’m playing a lot more Dota. But you can’t know everything just after a few matches of League, it doesn’t have the strategy complexity Dota has. But League is a lot more complex mechanically (when it comes to trading, all-ins) individually. Where as Dota shines in the team work, playing around the many objectives and counter picking and counter building.
@@HadoukenHero you can be biased all you want but in Dota there's *a lot* of point and click abilities that do too much, where as in League it's mostly skill shots. Not saying Dota's combat is worse, it's just different.
ah yes, reminds me of 2 people i used to play a lot of pubs with. one goes really hard on vision and detection while the other has a firm belief that the best ward is your face. one makes the game easy while the other makes it easy to lose 😆
You can cast spell from a place near the enemy, but there they shouldn't see you and see if they get stick charges. If they did, they see you and it might be a ward or invisible unit somewhere near.
Love the videos Zquix. I'm a relatively new player(500 ish hours but have more then 1k hours on LoL). I play with a group of legends and divine players. I'm curious if you offer coaching outside of the who's fault is it series?
Welcome to Dota! I do offer coaching, but currently not expanding as I focus on RUclips/Twitch. If you are able to drop by one of my Wednesday streams though, I offer free replay analysis there. It's a raffle system that anyone is allowed to join
Thank you for the welcome! I'll do my best to make it to tomorrow's stream. It feels like I've learned a lot in a short period of time due to my friends being high-rank. @@ZQuixotix
video made me thought that if you have a strong hunch you can commit a gg branch to test any towers AND it's actually one more use for np's Q (or mb hoodwink)

True bro, got tired of League. Wish I spent more time playing dota instead of it.

Ofc there’s exceptions, like Invoker where he’s really complex to learn and to play well.
@@ghozter1lmfao 😂 more complex mechanically. Oh that's a good one bro.

I was just thinking yesterday I could really use to up my ward game. Great tips, will try to apply them and see how it goes.
