It's literally been a year since my 10th piano composition, "The Seal Adventurer".
About 7-8 months ago, the amazing and talented fluffy mewsic uploaded this beautiful artpiece she created onto her twitter. I really love it, and I asked her if I could compose a piece for her art. I like how the city lights are blurred at the background. And despite being amongst the colourful lights, the person still carried a wistful expression. I decided I want to create a piano composition that could hopefully express some of those emotions out.
To fluffy mew, thank you so much! Hopefully this composition piece is to your liking for your beautiful artwork. I'm sorry it took so long. I initially wanted to release this in time for your birthday, but I still could not craft out a finished composition by then. Let this be a gift for your recent 9k sub milestone XD You're so talented in singing, piano, artwork, you deserve so much more.

I am actually in tears right now. I am so incredibly honoured to play a part in a Rui original - I've loved every single one of your compositions and this one is absolutely no exception. I'm continually impressed by how you always manage to stir so much emotion with every piece. The soft intro that gently builds and blends into the powerful and emotional chorus, and my heart almost stopped when those powerful high notes came in and then drifted off... I was trying to convey that bittersweet feeling of being lost in a bustling world, and you captured it musically more than I could ever have dreamed. My ears are blessed, my life is made, and I will continue crying ;v; ♡

i got here from Mew Senpai's post on the subscription feed and i have to say,this is really well done,it really encapsulates the feeling of being insignificant in a huge city with many people yet being significant in your own way,you possess talent i must say
