I got 802nd in the event lol I wanted to thank the game for giving me the full set(also to have a title to flex) so I spent hours and hours playing the game, did the math and I did around 400 lives in total.
i think its like unnecessary notes? just guessing but its probs notes that arent really apart of the beat of the song, so think of it as overcharting but not really
it's used to show things like alternate 16th notes (like when music is divided into measures/beats, you have quarter/eighth/16th notes) they're still part of the rhythm but it helps you distinguish which notes are what when you alternate fingers (it depends on the song tho) for example, normal alternate notes go blue-grey-blue-grey and triplet notes go blue-grey-grey-blue-grey-grey I dunno how to explain this further I'm not a music major
