Hey Charles! Yes, when you go to Family plan, your single account automatically migrates into that Family, and you will no longer be billed for the single account. It's weird! There are no settings to change, it just knows you're part of the family plan.
I am subscribed to a personal iCloud data plan (0.99$). Lately my friend has subscribed to the family plan iCould storage (2.99$). He wants to add me in his family in order to share the price and get more storage. So will my photos and documents be migrated to the new plan or what will happen?
@@nylotical thanks, but what if I want to cancel my Existing existing personal plan(0,99$) and use only shared (2,99$)? The main idea is to do Not pay twise? I want to move all my photos from my personal to the shared family - How I can do this?
So just to be clear for the family sharing icloud storage each apple id account will only be see and have access to their own files/document/photos videos/backup in their respective icloud storage?
Hey yellowowee! You are correct! Everyone can share the same "data pool" and monthly bill, however each Apple ID account has their own data (contacts, calendars, files, photos, backup, etc.)
Hi Kev! You have a choice if you want them to see them or not. Each person in the family can go to the Family Sharing Settings and turn ON or OFF "Purchase Sharing". Thanks for watching!
Hi VenTura! Each of Apple’s iCloud services have different levels of encryption. Here is their info page. Besides taking Apple’s word for it, I trust them because they are not incentivized to sell our information, while many other competing services (Google, Facebook, etc.) need to see your data in order to deliver ads based on your content. support.apple.com/en-us/HT202303
All of the family sharing settings are in the Settings App/Tap Name/Family Sharing. If you're having iCloud specific issues the call 1-800-APL-CARE. They'll be able to help with your account!
Love this!.....with my husband and I we have a total of 7 on our plan, and the cost can get out of hand! so thank you for this video ......A lot

It just adds more storage. It doesn’t affect your photos, it just gives you space to put photos.
