    Rahulji, for option B given any m, choose m=n so that m/n=1 and s< 1.

    For 3 , observe that some elements of (0,1) are irrational numbers....And for 4, there is no natural number in (0,1)

    If possible let there be some m for which ,s be less or equal to m/n for all n .So s is a lower bound of the set A={m/n:n is in IN)} . But greatest lower bound of A is 0. Thus contradiction arises as 0

      following are true means ,if u get counter example for this statement is true, but necessarily true means every example should satisfy the statement.

      Sir wkt directional derivative exist at a point implies partial derivatives exist at that point ( necessarily). If partial derivatives exist and continuous ( or f is differentiable) then directional derivative exist( sufficient only). Then if the given statement is
      " directional derivative of f exist at a point then which of the following r true?"
      If One option is 'f is differentiable'
      Then is itright option??
      Because we can take an example as a differentiable function then that has directional at that point . That is one example of given statement satisfy differentiability condition.

      Anusha T i think it is not true always... as u mention directional derivative exist at a pt implies partial derivative exist at that pt but we know partial derivative existence doesn't imply that the function is always differentiable..... bt i have a dbt.... so let's wait for sir's reply

      Give me one example such that
      The option is true but not necessarily true.
      I want to ask that
      Is it like that , given option is true means, there exist an example satisfying given condition in the option but that option is not in general true (i.e. there exist a counterexample for given option)
      And given option is necessarily true means it has no counterexample at all.......??

      Suppose we have question.
      Let G be a finite group of order 10 then
      1. G has atleast one element of order 2
      2. G has 5 elements of order 2
      In above option one is necessary true.
      But option two is true but not necessarily.
