Not really bad if you have to pay for food and bills over 1200 euros every month and have thousand extra in the bank that you will have to use for something else. When it comes to families, 15k is pretty much. Not to mention the foods where prices are increased and oil for a vehicle. Unless you are earning at least 5 or 10k per month. For 15k you expect to hand work perfectly without any delay. Just like your real hand.

Last time I heard about robotic hand about 5-6 years ago when scientist attached a single robotic hand to a patient losing his limb from accident.. those scientist attach microchip in the patient nerve system so this chip can collect data and provide brain mapping information so this robotic hand can move according the user need.... From my family experience, My uncle going under surgery after he got crashed on the road, his knee had been attach with a single iron rode to make sure he can walk again but when thunderstorms happen , he always felt like he getting struck by thunder because the iron rode absorb a wave around it... My uncle says that he always felt so uncomfortable when there's a thunderstorm or every time on rainy day if it also have a little lightning strike... I want to know if every person who had this robotic hand also have to face uncomfortable situation during lightning strike happen around them.
How did it save his career? It seems his career was doing fine, the hand just made it a bit easier for him. It doesn’t seem like his career was at risk at all.

Oh WOW?! I didn't expect people who lost their own parts would be using something like that to be their new counterpart to be helpful and benefits for their lives so they don't faced hardship as the past was a lack of knowledge and tech support to help aid the people with disabilities to meet the new life of making their life as they once had but without their missing links to do or others on what I felt sorry for them. I wonder in the future would we become cyborg or humanoid someday as I saw the movie Bicentennial Man with costar Robin Williams instead of he wanted to live as a robot or a servant android or a mechanic living but not really emotional like us humans he wants to be human so he knows what and how to feel act and pretty much be as a living human race as his former family has passed away and he's the only left behind one of his beloved ones
Certain enthusiasts are working on making prosthetics cheaper every year, which is quite exciting. I just wish there was a better way of implementation of cybernetic hands that there is currently. Maybe using AI? As of today, cybernetic legs are far more advanced than hands, due to how difficult it actually is to replicate a hand, that does a lot of precise small movements whist still having a big range of motion. In comparison, for feet it's just a rocking motion, much simpler, it's even easier to make em for running, they just need to be very durable and flexible enough to bounce, unlike for walking where you need to sync the movements.
