- This is my first ever video so don't take it easy on me tell me how trash or dope it is in the comments. Just wanted to show the power of Cryo in Dungeonborne as it sits right now.

Nice explanation of stats, why they're important for the build, which gear works best for them, followed by some good gameplay that showed how well it does under pressure. Nice job!

Thanks for the guide, also if you made an heirloom amulet and get straight 18% crit on it, with a grey sword you have exactly 100% crit after 4 kills just an fyi

I like the dagger idea better since you can throw them fairly quickly in a pinch
You only have 3 and they are for less dps than sword but if your play style fits better with Dagger do it and run those leaderboards

Same here so I had to do it.
Btw. With this build you can even cast Q on random mob on the way while fighting other players for some bonus health regen just to be more imposible to kill ^_^

Yes but MS is important also being ready to block is life saving. So do it when you can but do not force it.
You're really good! The fight is so fast pace. It would be cool if you voice over your fights.

Amazing guide, only have green/blue heirlooms but works at that level too. Just have to aim for dex and int passives. But if I sat all day trying to min max stats on trade, could probs also get will.

You should really give ice armor a try. Perma bubble is crazy for tanking.

Could you make a detailed "how to get started" with cryo guide? like all greens or the cheapest possible.
That's now how this game works. You're just going to want to stack the stats you need, wherever you can. There's no "optimal" way.

you should always be going for dex passive, simple as that
you know a lone cryo is usually a super easy kill this build is going to make it more deadly if people continue underestimating them

really good guide is there a reason you cast curse with orb instead of staff to do more damage? are you trading off the increase in damage for the ability to block? and i notice you dont use the heavy attack on dagger much outside of cc for pvp should i be saving those attacks ive been using them more aggressively especially to clear mobs faster the extra elemental damage is nice. not criticizing more trying to pick your brain on the thought process you seem to have much more success than i have been.
@dagger4567890 yea I keep orb out so that I have the ability to block and cc. I use the freeze to cc and get distance so I save them i don't try to spend them too fast.
math of the game is off too. i always have between 50 and 60% crit but effectively i crit 95% of the time in game.
True things do tend to be higher in crit
The dagger does a lot more damage than the sword when you throw it btw
When you throw it yes you are right but for clearing mobs and when you get in a tough spot it holds you back a ton. Preference is a thing also so if you like dagger use it.
Sword heavu can break blocks though

I think stamina bonus good to for tanking - 50 shields on each dagger hit, last fire staff tick and each lightning tick. Preferlng stamina bonus instead of will
Your getting so much life on hit that you don't need shield so I go for dmg check my part 2 out now I have all 4 perks

The rogue at 14:33 had a legendary crossbow, but he had the dice on it so you coulndt pick it up
Yea everyone right now wears one Legendary and then they dice it to keep it safe we have to wait till more are on the market.
Is frost barrier superior to Ice armor? Great build btw. Loving the life on hit on this build.
Frost barrier is a couple seconds of invincibility, while ice armor only blocks a pitiful amount of damage
like Dank said the frost armor doesn't really help when you catching burst dmg but ice block makes you immune to all dmg for a while.

Do a more budget friendly version of this. This must be 200k+ to build
its about a 100k just to roll items and you make most of it back from selling items without the right roles back. sometimes you even roll a great item to put on the auction house and you make even more money than you spend. Should I make a vid on how to roll for gear and make money doing it?

There literally isn't one, anybody who tells you otherwise is a cryo main. This shit needs to be severely nerfed
closing the gap isnt the problem, the problem is sticking to them for longer than 2 seconds. the only counter i can see is having an equally crippling slow while being tanky

I really hate how gear dependent games like this are tbh. You gotta get full epics to even go toe to toe with people, then you lose it all.

the game is more class dependent than gear dependent. The class balance is horrible in this game, certain classes are way too powerful.
@sei_asagiri I would disagree only because you need gear to reach stat conditions. In turn certain stats make classes op, which can only be obtained via Stat conditions through gear
@@jordancallahan5893 If you cant win a fight with cryo then go play Arena mode. Cryo is one of the most op classes in the game, same with pyro and sword master. A good cryo will beat a good fighter 100% of the time, and its pretty much impossible for a fighter to beat a pyro. I pretty much only play Arena mode since PvP is extremely scarce in casual mode.

yo kushinton what would u say is bare minimum to play cryo comfortably?? like dex + int passives with high crit?? i mean one step lower setup im still playing casuals with greens/blues dont have that much gold and upgrades/enchantments
Most def dex and int atleast and then as much life on hit as you can get

@RS-wc5vo if you can get your spell off then it shouldn't matter you heal up and just double lighting staff them to the face but the extra life would be good for survival

Dagger/sword is not life on hit, it is life on kill, basically still the same but not on hit
Life on hit comes from the gear not main hand wep, orb can roll life on hit and staff can sry if I explained it wrong. Part 2 is out now with more details.
Should I craft boots or hands heirlooms? thats because in your recent video you are using hands. You know to save material crafting the bis piece heirloom. Thanks for the guide.

@@Kushingtonz the build can work with life on hit on heirlooms only? Or its mandatory to have life on hit in the rest of pieces to cap the minimun life on hit? It is because I dont have to much gold to buy purple items. So I want to have purple heirlooms with the rest of gear in green.
@jksb4172 you want to have at least 10 life on hit for it to matter in a pvp fight you can get it anywhere besides hands and main hand weapon

Why life on hit and not life steal? is life steal not the same but % based?
Lifestyle wouldn't stack high enough to equal the heals of life on hit.
Is it just me or is it in every youtube video I se about this game the youtuber always bombards the other player, it isint even close , take this video for example he had like full HP in all the fights
A lot of people don't know how to play or build yet so you run into one sided fights. My next video will be more higher end fights

Yes it does
Everything great about the build, but one thing…stop hitting those weak melee dagger hits and start throwing those frost daggers more,they do waaay more dmg than just normal melee.
@ardenyt2435 I use sword it's way more dmg and the frost is for kiting

@greymane4455 wall away bait them into coming to you or walk around and catch then some other place but you beat most classes at range
This build, like just about anything with cryo, is pure cancer and is one of the many things ruining this game right now

Is % bonus healing stat affecting the healing effect of the Q ability and the heal on hit too?
@iruby8942 I havnt noticed that it so if it does then it's not a big difference so I'd rather go cooldown reduction
But its a 5% bonus healing on each piece having the 3 heirloom will make it 15% bonus healing from Q and life on hit no?
Well, sure u have 100% chance to crit, BUT also u have 119% crit dmg, that means that on crit u are dealing on 1.19 more damage, thats very questionable :/
the crit isnt for dmg its for soul energy the key is to last longer in the fight not just try to burst someone down

Would healing% technically be better than the CDR?
for some healing percent would affect the heal built in to cryo curse not the life on hit that your getting and thats a big chunk of the heals.
I've been seeing so many crio lately, and this is bullshit class which should be nerfed definitely

What does it mean by "intelligence sword is far better for DPS" . Do you mean because it adds a little more INT for extra damage or just sword dps is a lot better than daggers?
@tsrprebirth9139 the dmg with sword is better than daggers int or dex sword works depending on what stats your trying to stack
stamina passive + ice shield is the one real broken. Your build is not really a 'broken' one in current meta.
I'm down to 1v1 anytime to see what build is stronger

@@Kushingtonz well this build only seems to work on squishes then. You have died multiple times to fighters and other mages so it’s just skill thing sadly ,gear matters but it’s all thrown out the window if you get outskilled and kited.

If fb curse is ticking for 20-30 then a 30% increase, which is MAX distance, is only 6-9 damage a tick. Seems so small as to not be worth being deemed a need.
6-9 dmg times 6 or 7 ticks adds up in the long run but the will stat also increases the overall dmg of the spell too.
