Hi Elena and Preston I really enjoyed how Elena was really happy and you can see how she was really thrilled that her husband was trying you know her food from her culture. I myself can understand that because I am Mexican and my husband is African-American and there are certain foods in my culture or where I’m from or my families from that my husband will not try at all. So I give props to Preston For trying the food. Elena I love your channel you bring such joy into your videos and I can tell that you really take pride in everything you do. I knew an Elena who made a Russian potato salad with pine spruce- to eat (not even just as garnish) & still wonder, is that actually a thing? Until that point I had no idea people would eat pine spruce? is eating pine spruce common in Russia?

My mom cooks allot of Russian foods but Preston is very selective with what he likes so Russian food is out of question for him))) I have only few things I don't like - milk, bacon, ribs, but I'm down to try almost anything at least once)))
Loved this. My husband is polish and I’ve tried many strange and wonderful foods. When Preston said at the end Pierogi & the Nut had me laughing so hard 😂🤣😊. Sounds like the name of some avant garde stage show!🤣🙏🏻😊

For the bread and the rest of the food (no the sweet ones or veggies)you could have easily warmed them up for a few minutes in your own I do that with food was gets cold but that’s just an idea I enjoy watching your videos 🤘🏻❤️

They use a lot of fresh herbs and vegetables. My dad makes pickled tomatoes with garlic and all kinds of spices!!!! They’re delicious!!!!!

I speak Russian & my husband us French & mexican , he loves our russian food especially the marinated carrots, & the eggplant spread on the bread & the dry fish & we love the pickeled tomatoes😋 everything else!! Lol. It was fun watching this!😂
