- We traveled to Helsinki where we drove north to Ruka, Finland to Ruka Ski Resort. Where we did some skiing and snowboarding with beautiful snowy surroundings and great slopes!

Best video I've seen of Ruka. Been there only once about 22-23 years and 60 kg ago snowboarding. And the weather was brutal with about -35 celsius and 15 m/s headwind.😅
Cool that you know how to both ski and ride a snowboard, although your board looks very short. I only how to ride a snowboard, never even tried skiing 😅. Still doing it at 37 years old and at a 120 kg. The more you weigh, the faster you go, it's the law of gravity. 😂

Yo Mr. Rockstone, thanks for a really nice video. I'm originally from the region and really liked the images you captured from the true Northern winter. Been to Ruka many times (although last time was like 20 years ago); it's a much larger resort these days. Seem that you guys caught some pretty "fresh" days ..:) Keep shooting more videos!

Well there were people but maybe not as many as normally because its a very cold part of the season.

This is a great area, and yes I would consider going again. Havent been to the Alps yet.

Yeah there are both Junior and more experienced freestyle parks. And two halfpipes, the halfpipes were not open this time though.
