Funny thing is. That’s how I beat him in the RX7. In my case, he slammed into a truck. LOL.

Yeah, I mean, I easily beaten J but the 3 Dragons are something else indeed, doing an Engine Change to my R32 was quite helpful.
@@MaykelFS23 Well, basically any engine swap is useful in this game ^^
But choosing the correct one is a pain sometimes. I remember trying to run a L6 Turbo swapped S13 to beat J + The 3 Dragons instead of the NA V6 I put on earlier.
Even if I had more horsepower, it was a pain because I wasn't used to have a front weight heavier than a Peterbilt.
@@onelonejackal613 Guess I were lucky then, RB26DEET got changed to a V8 turbo, got heat quickly but its understandable.

Beat them with just a RB26 what I did was pray that I run into the courses with lots of corners but I easily did it with my z31 300zx v6 turbo
Dejected Angel are returned as "Sad Angel" in Street Supremacy (TXR PSP) as well "Jintei"
For Sad Angel,she will joins teams if you beat her in RWD
And for Jintei, Beat all "13 Devils" to recruit him
Yeah, I got them both on my play through. Both their cars look unusual in that game

I remember when I played through the first time as a kid. I spawned Jintei right at the beginning of the Wangan without realizing it. Needless to say that was a very short race for me.
Lol yeah hes unbelievably fast on the straights he cant turn to save his life though like most opponents in this game

I think J has the best intro of all bosses. The way that his logo is shown up, is awesome if you consider the age of TXR3.
Yeah the way the j comes in and splits off is pretty cool. He was quite challenging not sure I like his colour choice on the car though.

Red Skyline looking like a Zaku Type 1 is just diobolical
His car in ZERO has the front end designed to look like Char's Zaku II Commander type.
In 3, it's Char's Gelgoog.
Also, the silhouette cameo of the driver is the Char himself in both zero and 3
Before facing the 3 Dragons of Nagoya, I make it a point to get the Gemballa GTR750 first. One of the few cars that can actually gap them.
I was thinking on getting the Viper GTS but a Porsche is always welcome.

Dejected Angel - after you defeating Jack Knife and BloodHound
SteelHeart - after defeating all stage 2 C1 teams
Dying Star - after defeating all stage 2 ShinKanjou teams
Midnight Rose - after defeating all stage 2 Wangan teams area (the longest straight track in txr3)

How to easy win :
stage 1
Using Nissan s13 at the beginning, take Tokyo as first destination, max the perfomance as you can and when you defeating Dejected Angel (it has the best speed and handling the corner imo). take his car and defeat the other stage 1 team in Nagoya and Osaka, never change to other cars (unless you're bored and try a new one)
stage 2
Simple : take the M.C.R wanderer car (Shutokou Leader that spawn after beating C1 outer time trial , spawn : C1 Outer Tokyo, Nissan Skyline red colored) because that's the only car that have "Fear" to other teams even bosses that i list above because its has super speed at 2nd - 4th gear (speed about 214mph) then
Journey of Defeating order :
Stage 1 : Tokyo - Nagoya - Osaka
Stage 2 : Osaka - Nagoya - Tokyo

The 3 Dragons are what ALMOST killed my RX-7's engine. No, seriously, I went over 100°C and lost numerous amounts of HP during the final race. Luckily I did a strong block and won the race.
Yeah, them back to back was a bit wild. Got lucky the first one ended quick or I might of been in deep sht for the last one.

ive beaten the tokyo bosses with a isuzu piazza and im on the nagoya bosses (the 3 dragons, which i almost beat the knight but hit a invisible wall at the entrance of a corner), i also unlocked the final bosses which is darts, only in a piazza that has over 3k kilometers on the counter (it has a l6 turbo engine swap)
It was unfortunate that Jintei crashed his R34 during the expressway crash, which almost killed him. And to regain his reputation several years later, he bought and built an Impreza GDB and returned to the highway run.

I’ve been wanting to play this game for the longest time and seeing a recently uploaded video about it gave me motivation to set up an emulator. But I just want to know if the game is downloadable or I need the disc to play it and if it’s downloadable, where can I get it ? Thanks
You can play the game if you have the iso image, which you get from the disc. You can download the game off the internet, thats kind of frowned upon but its there just look for the game name with iso at the end.
Never notice that some of the 12 Zodiac from 0 were mixed in to be 13 devils in 3

Favorite Tokyo Boss: Steal Heart
My First playthrough of the game, I got his Car and blazed through most the game, I always liked the fact in 3 Boss cars are as powerful as the Bosses themselves, just lack the acceleration power they have. For fair reasons.
Favorite Nagoya Boss: Flame Dragon
Using the NA Turbo Boost with his car sometimes made me feel like I was just like him. XD
Still kinda sucks White Charisma and some others couldn't make it in, and trying to make their cars don't feel fast enough (Like the 240z can't really go past 190mph.)
I really enjoyed racing the rook, the bishop and the knight they gave me a startle the first time going through this game bosses after bosses and they kept getting faster lol. Luckily this video here is probably my fourth play through of this game so I kind of knew what to expect lol.
Flame dragon was quite fast, got a little lucky with him.
Favorite bosses I would probably say:
- Dejected Angel because of the atmosphere created when racing with all the stars and effects
- The Knight and his boss group just cause they gave me such a challenge the first time I played.
@@KaidoSamurai This I can agree to! among the Bosses in the game, the 3D's gave me a terrible time (I feel abit shameful that I enjoy using their ITC cars more (Namely The Rook's) however, but as far as racing them goes, their TXR3 incarnations are way more intimidating) My first time around it took luck being with me to beat them.
Ah yes, Dejected Angel, I'm only sadden by the fact in the replays the effect doesn't play. Would be badass if the Replays had the effect as well, but I Digress.
I also liked Pluto, but I didn't like the fact the Car you can purchase has the wrong Engine type, he uses a Turbo L6 engine but the car you buy uses a NA V8 (Which is the default engine for the Lexus LS430 in general.) which lead me to (poorly) recreate his car with the correct Engine type.
@@Baschemon Yeah this time around in my play through I kind of knew where to catch every boss for the most part to give me the upper hand if I could control it, though Nagoya is a little harder to do that since its all straights the bosses don't hold back when they have an open stretch of road.
Never even thought to try and play back the replay for that race would of been nice with the effects if it worked.
Not sure if you've play the Racing Battle C1: Grand prix series from Genki? Some of the bosses from the TXR series trickled into that one, they made Dejected Angel quite slow in that game and changed the car to a Honda S2000 not sure why that was. I'm still trying to figure out whether the games are linked in anyway ex prequel or sequel to TXR games.
@@KaidoSamurai Yeah, Since now you know what to expect with the Bosses it's easier to prepare now, but I still like a good Challenge, like using "MCR", "West No. 5", & "Orimabu" against the Bosses/Team leaders of their respected locations, but still Nagoya's probably most challenging due to the straights.
Yes, I have played Racing Battle C1, I had to use a Modded PS2 along with a special Disc to bypass the region lock to play. I didn't get too far in the game, I want to invest in a better PS2 and try the game again (As my Current PS2 is very faulty) or try emulation of it. But I got as far as Dejected Angel and was fairly disappointed in that she's slower with the S2000, and I've also wanted to know what connection Racing Battle C1 has towards the mainline games, is it something similar to how Drift/Drift 2 integrated the stories, translating would help, but I don't know Japanese, so I played the game just to play.

Honestly I'm not sure, my knowledge of what's best is pretty limited since I havent used every car only the ones I personally like. I found the mustang mach 1 pretty quick rarely had issues with rivals when I drove it though
@@KaidoSamurai I see! I haven't get the mustang yet, but Jintei's R34 is pretty fast, I just bought and tried and I feel it is even faster then the Flame Dragon's Viper
Btw I got West Corvette yesterday, it looks awesome, but seems the top speed is not as fast as Jintei's R34, not sure if I can do anything from the transmission..

@@issacng9069 Yeah, I like to lower my car as it has a visual change, performance wise I may be ruining some of the cars by max lowering them lol but I manage.

I must say, you have skills. Even though you are blocking these bosses, you also try to take corners gently. If I had a chance to win, I used wall riding, when rival was too close to me. I barely had 50% of SP meter
Thanks, yeah getting some of these guys on a straight is a nightmare they just shoot up to ridiculous speeds, have to give them the rear end sometimes. I panicked quite hard on flame dragon almost killed my win streak lol.
@@KaidoSamurai My favourite moment is when you drive a very fast car, get over 350km/h, but Jintei still tries to keep up before he loses whole SP. My advice: if you lose with Red Devil or Jintei, get revenge near pit area on Daikoku

@@SNOWDUDE13 Yeah, theres a few cars that I didn't know were in the game either that you unlock from beating certain racers that your may not encounter
there's 2 ways to get the mustang mach 1:
First way: Defeat "Hyper Groove" a stage 1 wanderer in nagoya. (he appears on tuesdays)
Second way: Defeat "Angry Hoshino" Team Leader of HOME-RUN In Osaka Stage 2

I love how Dying Star just go FULL POWER in the player , jintei is fast sure, but he lacks the Dying Star ''MOVES''

I tried racing all the Nagoya bosses in quick race mode with a F6 turbo swapped Mitsubishi GTO.
Flame Dragon and The Rook - beat them easily by boosting in the first 10 seconds had ~90% SP left
The Bishop - he was harder than The Rook, kept up much better and I had ~60% SP left
The Knight - I started at Airport Central (Wangan Out) and finished near Daikoku with 0,1% SP left and an overheated engine. Had to brake check him several times to beat him.
J - he accelerated WAY quicker than The Knight, I never had the chance to even get side by side with him. Most of the time, the race ended before we even reached the tollbooth after the tunnel.

@@KaidoSamurai maybe a late reply, but i heard this "Original"/"Certain" Driver on some bosses bios were Player Character in the previous games (cmiiw) that's what i heard, i hope this answer both of your questions
I assume it’s either ??? (from TXR1, 2, and Zero) or just the players themselves in TXR Zero since the story seems to be following from that game specifically.
@@Logan912 i'm agree if it was "player" from TXR since it was the most sense theory of all of it. Well, there is no way someone who is crazy enough to take on the 13 Devils on it's own on a non-stop gauntlet of battles of battles without a break. (If you didn't include the game's mechanic)

@@fordmanx3 No mods(Cheats) at all done to the car, are you referring to the mustang as I think that was my only car that reached dangerous levels of heat and even then I don't think it felt slow until like 114+. But my skyline was almost maxed so performance hits when the temps started getting orange just aren't as noticeable. Otherwise I'm not too sure
I never understood the point of wangan racing, racing in long straights always sounded boring to me

For them, its not a normal point-to-point race.. its a test of perseverance and mentality. Is your machine tough enough for a constant 180mph run for hours? Or are you brave enough to stay in that speed without even losing focus? But yes, your point still stands.. it sa bit boring doing that, but for me.. I can see why they liked doing that

Yeah, they really sacrificed quite a bit on this one, coming from zero to this one the car list was also very underwhelming. Still a fun game non the less though.
@@KaidoSamurai I had Zero and TXR2 and The dreamcast version is slightly better but Zero is NICE😀 I tried drift but it was borderline unplayable due to the crappy handling
@@KaidoSamurai I'm actually playing Shen Mue and TXR but I've created an alternate universe where Ryo drives an NXS type Zero and Lan Di runs the whole racing underworld, gangs and all. It's bootleg but you should check them out. With so much quarantining, the boredom was responsible for this spinoff
@@MrCalverino Ah Shenmue, I remember playing that game when I was younger. LOL nice that would be an interesting game, I could see the gang fights in the car parks now.
@@KaidoSamurai Well it's a mixture of both worlds. He has to defeat the bosses in TXR but he also has regular life in the game Shen Mue. I was playing it thinking like "he's from Japan where they have the best cars" Each vid is only 60 secs because I upload them to Instagram
