    Most of Europe (England, France, Germany, most of Spain, Northern Italy, Wales, Ireland, Scotland, etc.) was Celtic before later invaders came in and settled among them (and re-made boundaries)... So this posting by you is extremely precious and valuable... I stumbled upon this quite by chance, but your knowledge and wisdom is very deep (as deep as the salmon in his pool) and it must have taken you years (knowledge painfully gained?) to gather all the elements together to tell this golden story. Thank you for this sharing of your riches! You need to write a book!

      Thank you so much. It's like putting a puzzle together, Druidry is fond of a bit of enigma. I would love to write a book, or even two as I already wrote something but not published. Druidry would be a good subject.

    I really like how you made yourself transparent. I'm not sure how you did that I am using Movie Studio 17 as an editor, but I don't really use most of its tools. If you could, could you tell me how you did that edit.

    • @TheWitchInTheWoods

      Sure.. I'm using VSDC which is free to download. I'm layering two bits of footage, so running the camera so everything is identical.. then fading out or fading in one clip over the other. Usually whichever is top layer .. so top layer would fade in... or line up top layer to fade out revealing what's below it. Does that make sense?

      Have you? I think I have a little welsh DNA and some scots and irish DNA.. don't know the family history though, which is a shame. The celtic folklore is beautiful though. And no one really talks about our origin myths.. it's just so unmagical our world.

    interesting, you mentioned Taliesin, i have read a book by Stephen R. Lawhead about a character called Taliesin who in the story was the father of Merlin, and there is a village of the same name not far from Tywyn in wales i have been meaning to visit, real-life connections with Celtic myths and legends i guess, like the outtakes as well

    • @TheWitchInTheWoods
      @TheWitchInTheWoods  3 года назад

      I think you can visit Taliesin's grave in Wales.. er ... did I hear that?? legendary grave anyway...? Yeah wales is just over t'hills and yet it seems worlds away sometimes. I used to live on the borders as kid, and you'd go over and everything was in another language!!??? I hope to go see some more places there myself one day. Anglesey especially.. just to got to get over the pennines.. the outtakes were just a few of many eh!!

      Interesting suggestion, thanks. I don't know that much about Gaulish mythology but it might be interesting to research that. There are certain similarities like Rhiannon and Epona, which does broaden the whole picture, so I would like to dig around a bit on that subject.
