I 100% am with you on getting worked up on the horrible mainstream music scene. So much money getting poured into vacuous music, it's disheartening as hell. ERRA and so many other bands in this genre give me hope that we can at least look forward to still having amazing music in this day and age.
Everyone has their own opinion on what the best ERRA album is, I love em all but thought that their ST is their best work to date. You should check out the hypnotist by them from their Drift album. It’ll check every one of your boxes for a perfect song
Just got here after seeing all your Erra reaction vids. You mentioned a few times how much you like Jesse's voice so I thought I'd give you a heads up to check out his side project Ghost Atlas. Jesse really gets a chance to show off just how good a singer he is. Check out the songs Legs, Sacred Organs and Elixir of Life, they won't disappoint.

Eye of God 1000%. It felt like the perfect followup to Neon and a glimmer of the kind of epicness brewing for the self-titled

Definitely got to do Dementia or Alpha seed by ERRA.
Dementia is probably one of their best songs of their album Augment that you HAVE to check out. I think the reddit /metalcore scene would agree ten fold!
What did you think about heresy?
Maybe this is the song with the most views, but Augment(Intro)/Dementia(song) is their most favorite for their fans.

Be careful with Erra reactions that have anything with the current screamer before the self titled (drift and neon), Sumerian Records likes to hand out strikes. As long as you do pauses I think you’re fine just, use caution. The other albums with the old vocalist should be ok though, and so should anything they put out as they’re not with Sumerian anymore.
The bad thing is the guitar got lost in the mix. They didn’t have a good mix on the whole album. Watch jesses play through on RUclips so much more technicality that you can’t even hear!
Maybe YOU can't hear the guitars in the mix. I can hear them fine through both of my headphones, my Z623 Speakers, and in my car. If anything, you just have a terrible EQ or terrible ears, the mix is really good actually.

@@coloradoruffneck4230 the guitars being too quiet in the mix *for your liking* doesn't mean the mix is bad (and the guitars, aren't too quiet). Obviously the guitars are going to be pulled forward and sound better on playthroughs, that's just a dumbass comment. I have watched the playthroughs before and while its good for being a playthrough, the guitars, for obvious reasons on those videos, are much too loud in conjunction with everything else. The band isn't only about the guitars, neither is the mix.
It sounds completely fine, you and everyone else just have shit ears or shit audio equipment and equalization, or, probably both.
@@coloradoruffneck4230 for me, the problem isn't the guitars, it's the drums. the crash cymbal, instead of being slightly to one side, is aaaaaall the way to one side which gave me a headache at first, but i guess I got used to it?
