Even though Proctor hasn't any big win this year, he's impressed me a lot with how really consistent he's been. He's one of the old guard too so massive props to him for being able to kick it with the young guns. Not easy to do... especially in this era of disc golf. These young guys are amazing.
Commentators have access to see player's bag since they have in the bag section in the video. Kyle has one yellow driver based on their video and that is PD2. Most likely Kyle's drivers on hole 1 was that PD2 since it's the only yellow one.
anyone knows why the distances was much shorter in this year's worlds long drive? the longest this year was 610. last year it was 710 and loads of people got over 600. McMahon got 510 and he can do that distance with a midrange.
I get that 9 is probably more of a par 4 1/2 not a par 4, but everyone has to play the same course, and the only number that really matters is the final score... If 9 didn't have a "par number" assigned to it, would the players play it differently???
The constant hole 8 noise is very obnoxious. I get that people enjoy cheering and heckling but golf is a silent sport that requires concentration, I'm not a big fan of the screaming you hear anywhere around the course.
I do hear you (hell, I can barely throw with people watching, much less making a bunch of noise) but I also appreciate disc golf's eschewing of ball golf's snootiness. Disc golf is the people's golf (isn't ridiculously expensive; largely makes use of public land...). If that means some hooting and hollering, I'm ultimately ok with it.
@@kruksog That's an interesting point, and I do agree that when you're on the 8th hole it must be fun for players, and makes the sport closer to Basketball than ball Golf, which I'm all for. But Disc golf requires a level of precision that will be broken by loud shouts, just look at Calvin during the initial rounds at Worlds, he (and many others) had to do a re-run up for some shots due to noise. It's a tough margin to navigate!

If you want to be a professional athlete you should be able to deal with a bit of crowd noise imo
This round was such an abomination that I don't even care to see the back nine. None of these four guys came there to play that day.
