There is a new conservative Lutheran church in America - NALC, the North American Lutheran Church, established in the wake of standing solidly for the inerrancy of the Bible. The year is 2010, I think. Many think it is more to do with refusing homosexual pastors to be called. That may be true, but we wholeheartedly welcome all. The largest Lutheran body, ELCA had become too liberal for conservative Christians. We hold the Bible to be inerrant. The Anglicans offered us support and the use of their building and communion. So yes we are in communion with the Anglican Church and that is a good thing.
