Another great vid, guys. Have lived all around England, Scotland and Ireland but that coastline is, and will always be, my favourite. Love your idea of showcasing your home waters. So many automatically jump abroad and never experience the stunning beauty in the backyard. There's many a travel journalist / producer lacking your humour, enthusiasm, intelligence and connection with the audience. Hope that they're watching!!
What beautiful day and when you talked about this area it brought back memories of my best friend who lived in Dorset and he told me all about the area you are talking about, sadly he passed away in 2019 twenty odd years in the army just about to get his pension and live a little hey ho. He is sadly missed by many. Many thanks for sharing and all the best to you both and hank I also have a dog springer spaniel called Arnold cheers 🍻
We used to dive the Black Hawk wreck in Mupe bay then bring a few scollops up for supper. Fantastic area. Beautiful Dorset. Sail Safe Guys, Ant, Cid & the pooch crew.
We’re just in the Isles of Scilly now and saw a load of Scilly shells all over a sand bar that revealed itself at low tide. Think I’m going to have to don the snorkel and mask and head down to investigate tomorrow 😬😬 Hope you guys are keeping well?! 🤞🏼⛵️
Guys, the intro was stunning. You're great videographers and how you managed to get Sir DA to do that voice-over is amazing!!!!!! Thanks for taking the time to bring us your amazing journey and for that I shared to Twitter for you
Wow what an intro son of Attenborough. I'm so glad you're singing the praises of our wonderful country because frankly we just don't blow our own trumpets nearly enough. I'm cruising the canals and there is frankly loads of stunning countryside .Who needs foreign holidays when there is so much to. see here .
This is true, there is a great range of interaction across all the various buttons, with the exception of ‘share’ it’s like it pretty much doesn’t exist. Wonder if that’s the case across multiple channels, the ratio?
Ah wow. We saw that boat on the south coast of brown sea island. We anchored for a night there and met up with some friends we met at studland bay who have the same boat as us.
Beautiful video guys, you are really good with the drone, I haven’t had the guts to try mine on the water yet. That bay looks super nice so look forward to the next time. Andy UK
A bit of advice: that initial talk to camera had some horrible bottom end rumbling going on and you can counter that by adding an EQ to the audio track and rolling off frequencies below 200Hz but you can adjust it higher to taste. The voice is centred around 1Khz so you wont lose any articulation but it will clear up any frequencies that potentially make it hard to hear.
Thanks for the feedback, we’ve actually been having all kinds of trouble with the mics on our cameras recently and I’m not really that skilled up to ‘fix it’, but I hope the load of dead cats and new mics I’ve bought will help me get some better audio out of the footage going forward 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼
@@CadohaAdventures Whatever editor you're using will have some capabilities to edit the audio. You'll find its best practice to put an EQ with high pass on any voiceovers to cut out low end rumble. With that particular clip, it sounds like the camera was on the table, the engine was running and the acoustics at the nav station allows your voice to be 'boomy' as it resonates off the wood in such a confined space. This channel always has really good advice across the board for filmmaking but this specific one is about dialogue in video: ruclips.net/video/Xy31jShyKEY/видео.html Work on the principle to capture as well as you can in camera and post is about giving it a shine. You've really nailed a lot with the storytelling, the camera work and drone shots. Adding the audio to that list will put so much shine to your productions and its one that a lot of other channels neglect or don't place much importance on.
"Tula's Endless Summer" have an episode where e friend brought an electric foil. Sierra took their dog Jetty for a ride. Could be that Jetty was giving lessons to Sierra. Happy that you're on the move finally. Thanks for the video.
Love the video guys. If you have time (and settled weather) check out the anchorage at Chapmans Pool, its an awesome place :-) and not far from Mupe Bay.
I use the Share button (frequently?) to time-stamp starts within videos as build my list of bookmarks (eg how to splice dynema, optimal conditions for epoxy vs poly, etc). Works great ...
great videos, actually would have never thought to even sail around the UK, but I am wrong! will ask a big favor, can you put a graphic of the name of the places you are talking about? just a quick snippet would be great! Enjoy your adventure, I know we do!
Awesome vid, showing off the stunning cruising ground I call home ⛵️😎. Your “Armada” was the Poole Yacht Racing Association heading out to our start line off Swanage for a race to Weymouth and back. If only I’d realised we were sailing in such esteemed company!! Duly shared with my crew mate Ian and skipper Tim as you have some lovely aerial shots of his yacht “Calabash”.
I flew the drone for a moment then came to my senses when I realised just how many masts I had to try and watch whilst simultaneously getting ‘good shots’ 😬😬😬😳
"Sailing The English Jurassic Coast" Disclaimer: no actual sailing was involved in the making of this video - "Jurassic" apparently refers to the dinosaurs burnt in the Volvo saildrive
Great video, 👍 shared as requested. Dom random question and only cos I noticed in the last 2 videos but you seem to have a large lump on your neck, never noticed it before
Hi to you both and Hank of course me and my wife Karen are going round the uk next year and I was wondering what influenced your decision to go round clockwise
Well we bought the boat in Peterhead (east Scotland) and came back (to Southampton) through the Caledonian canal and fell in love with everything we saw, expect we experienced it all so fast as we had a paid skipper helping us to bring her home. So we decided to go much slower and immerse ourselves in some of the areas we liked the look of, to really discover all the hidden gems this coastline has to offer 😬😬
The quality of your videos is just getting better and better. Love watching your adventures and hope to get out there soon. Our splash date is the 27th so only one weekend left to get our new (to us) konsort ready. Hope to see you guys on the water some day. 👍⛵
Love the new intro. I think you were doing quite well on the board near the end there. More practice!!!!! Best buy one :) I loved the "we're going over there" while pointed and traveling 90 degrees off of it
Ha ha, I think we’ll need to save a lot more pennies before I’ll be able to splash out on one of those. Far too many modifications we’d like to make to the boat for that kind of money. Maybe one day we’ll be as rich as Frank and be able to throw our fun tokens around more frivolously 🙏😬😬😂⛵️
Watching you fall off that board is one of the most enjoyable things I've seen on youtube!!! :) EDIT: also just to say the editing and music are superb.
Love the photography and music - you have your own niche in the sailing vlog space! The views of the scenes are fabulous and your boat saiks so graceful on the water. I'd be curious where Carley acquired all her navigational and sailing skills - she seems so at ease with it all.
Hi there I'm going to unsubscribe to you channel not for any other reason then I'm leaving sailing. I have watched with interest all your ups and downs and like you we have had many engine faults. It is now evident that we spend more time fixing then sailing and a new engine in a 40 year old boat is just not worth the hassle. Continue on your adventures and I may look in now and again. Geoff
Love the opening voice over.

Much appreciated 🙏🏻😁😁😁⛵️
Your surfing is getting better and better...... not quite So. California ready..... but keep working. Awesome show, as usual
Every video just gets better and better and great seeing some,of the southern uk- sometimes we forget what’s all around us
lol, the Mad's finisher!
It’s not the first time either! 😳😳😂

Great stuff and you share the fantastic English coast with us. Thank you.
It’s certainly a stunning place that’s worth sharing 😁😁⛵️
Sir D.A. doing VO in your intro is absolutely hilarious!
You know what they say, it's not what you know, it's who you know 😬😂
Hope things are good with you 🙏🏻⛵️
Great intro. Love it.
Thanks, Stephen, glad you enjoyed it.
Oh..I shared it also..Be safe
You’re a super star, Hank sends his love! 🐕😍
Viewers like and share cos they want to, after seeing and viewing good quality content. Good luck

Charlie Hopkinson?😉 Good vid. You nearly had that cracked on the foiler - get one - cheap as chips.🤣
Ha ha, a man of many talents, or was it my mate, Dave? 😬😬😂

Well, Andy, you may be the wiser man, because the drone that shot that epic footage, now resides at the bottom of the sea 🤢☹️
@@CadohaAdventures oh damn I didn’t realise you meant that one. Let’s hope your friend in the US sends his over. A
Awesome!
Glad you enjoyed it, Tris 😁
@@CadohaAdventures I always do. Glad you are back to sailing, looking forward to when you reach the East coast 🤩
I had no idea that a "Share" could be so valuable. Consider it done from here on!

Hank has been on the foil
Absolutely love the new intro and a great episode on our old home waters. Soooo many memory’s there 🥰⛵️
It is a staggering place indeed ⛵️😁
Ginger summer problems. I know how you feel my friend.
Every day in the sun is a new game of Russian roulette 😂
Love the video guys. If you have time (and settled weather) check out the anchorage at Chapmans Pool, its an awesome place :-) and not far from Mupe Bay.
We will 100% be sure to check that out! Appreciate the local knowledge there 😁🍻
Great Jerome Clarkson impersonation
Another fine episode, looking slightly less "Tormund" since your haircut...(sure it must have been said before) 😂
Better warn Hank about the sun! He's a ginger, too!
He's forever rolling those dice! 😬

bah you barely touched poole! you have to make the trip up the river to wareham!
Mute Bay, I don’t understand why I’ve never heard of it. 😂😂 You shouldn’t call it a surf board, I’d call it a face plant board. 😂😂
Just to the east of Lulworth cove
Mupe Bay not Mute 😉
when I have my sailboat I will go to England
We saw frankie buzzing around studland on Saturday, the board looked great fun!! Great videos, and safe trip
Have you considered a side gig doing voice overs?
Enjoyment!
I'm excited to see where yiur travels take you are u heading to Scotland and Northern ireland

Did the share as a testy to myself. It worked
Never knew. Thanks..
BTW,, how did you get Hank to do the intro. voice over? It was 👍
Did you meet Wally the walrus on your way? :) Thank you for the beautiful video!
I think Wally is still in the Scilly Isles, about 300 miles west (ish)
"Sailing The English Jurassic Coast"
Disclaimer: no actual sailing was involved in the making of this video - "Jurassic" apparently refers to the dinosaurs burnt in the Volvo saildrive
😂
Fair
The reason people don't cruise Britain is simply because the weather sucks, the tides are severe and the harbours small and challenging ...
