I appreciate you revisiting those perfumes to share what they developed in to. So often perfume reviewers just talk about when received and don't touch on them later.
I’m so glad you enjoyed the video🥰🥰🥰🥰 I do think videos like this are important. A lot of Middle Eastern perfumes tend to change as they age so I wanna make sure I keep people in the loop🤓🤓🤓
These types of videos are soooo helpful. It really helps to know how a fragrance smells after maceration. There's tons of people who don't give Middle Eastern fragrances a chance to macerate and immediately declutter them!! Breaks my heart a little every time I hear of someone doing that. 😂🥰♥️✌️
Yes, I think it’s so important to go back after a while and revisit some of these Middle Eastern perfumes that have had time to macerate longer and see if there’s any changes 🤓 some of them become such beautiful perfumes if they just have the chance to sit for a while 🤓
This is amazing synchronicity because I just purchased Rifaaqat two weeks ago and have been searching out more reviews specifically on development on aging it. Mine is anything but powerful and doesn’t perform well but has the most beautiful notes (the peppers on opening are beautiful, as is the elemi) at all so I’m really hoping this changes and it develops sillage and longevity. It is THE most addicting vanilla. Another M/E one that just blooms after a couple of months is The Chant, a gorgeous but non-cloying waxy tropical flower (frangipani, tiare, gardenia).
Yes, I would definitely say that Rifaaqat is getting better and better with age. I really love the smell of it when I first got it, but now I’m addicted to this perfume. 🤓🤓🤓🤓
@@jjmsmom Mine's at 3 months now and it's hugely improved but longevity and silage are still on the moderate side. Lasts well on hair and fabrics though.
@@Mamabearperfumechannel What is your performance of Rifaaqat after maceration? After My first wearing (5 sprays), I’m experiencing 4-6 hours longevity with 1.5-2 hours of projection
@@RobertLaTuso that’s a great question🤓 I feel like I get pretty good longevity and projection from Rifaaqat. I don’t know the exact time but it’s about 6-8 hours. I only spray about 20 pumps with that one because it’s a little stronger than some of my other perfumes.
I totally agree with you. Rifaaqat becomes so much smoother over time. It's niche quality and only 35€! You have me curious about Amber Grand. That sounds like me. You might want to give Swiss Arabian's Amber 07 a try. This is an amber bomb with vanilla, incense, cinnamon and dates. Not for the faint of heart. One spray is enough. And definitely for cooler weather. 😂 i am going to revisit my Mango Punch. I was uncertain of it at first, but it has been sitting for about 2 months.. BAYN AL ASAR. I can't wait for your review!
Yes! Rifaaqat not only smells niche, but I even think the bottle looks really niche🤓🤓🤓 it’s an amazing perfume for the price. I’ll definitely have to give Amber 07 a try. It sounds like something I would love.🤓🤓🤓
Yes, it used to be so spicy, but now that has completely gone away🤷🏻♀️ I don’t know if it’s just my bottle or if it needed to macerate or if it’s maybe just my skin chemistry. I’m not really sure.🤷🏻♀️🤣🤣🤣
Wonderful vibes and I love the updates on fragrances and things especially after they change after awhile sitting . Or like even updates after a month on how you feel on certain scents.
You look awesome and so summery!! Beautiful alcove with the succulents in pots. When you pulled out the Bain Al Asrar at the end I squealed a little at how cute it is like a little booklet!!! Yes I feel that Lavender, while amazing in flower form can sometimes be a bit...ratchet in some fragrance and skincare products. I am glad you did this video about how you've changed your mind a little bit about these fragrances. I feel like people think I'm lying if in one video I say I didn't like something but then a few months later I say I do like it. It's true, honest!!😁😁😁
Yes, I Completely agree🤓 sometimes our nose might change the way it smells a certain perfume or sometimes a perfume might macerate into something different and I think it’s important to keep everyone in the loop if there are any changes to what I’m smelling in my perfumes🤓🤓🤓
Hey just to say I've been watching your fragrance videos form the beginning and have always found the way you talk about perfumes informative and relaxing. Seems like you are getting so many views now! Congrats ❤❤ xx
Thank you🥰🥰🥰 the fragrance community is such a welcoming place to talk about my passion for perfumes🤓🤓🤓 I’m so glad you find my videos relaxing, and informative🥰🥰🥰🥰
Rifaaqat is very similar to Babycat as a lot of people are saying. Babycat just seems more peppery to me, but I’ve let my Rifaaqat sit for two months, and it is getting smoother.
I got mango punch the other day and while I like it my brain does not smell mango at all. Taskeen Marina was a let down for me. Just smelled like citrus oil and nothing else. I'm hoping it will develop some complexity
With me, it was the exact opposite with taskeen Marina. I got no citrus at all at the beginning. 🤣🤓 it’s so interesting how everyone can smell one perfume and pick up different things depending on skin chemistries and climates.🤓😋
Taskeen is still pulling like bathroom cleaner on my skin 😔 Had it for two months now and it has mellowed out but I think the citrus doesn't agree with my body chemistry.
@@Mamabearperfumechannel Thank you! It's still a lovely scent and I like it but wish it liked me back haha 😆 Working on some layering combos with it but if nothing else it's a spray lighty chillin at home scent lol
Am I correct in saying it looks like you had the Ajayeb Dubai Portrait for 2 weeks before filming this? I just received mine. It is so weird. I loved the opening, the dry down is strange. I don't know what to make of it, but I don't dislike it, it's just that it's not the mango smell I was expecting (think The body shop's mango body butter).
Yes, I believe it’s been about two weeks possibly three that I’ve had that perfume🤔 when I first got the perfume I could definitely detect strong spicy oud. But now I don’t get any spice or oud from this perfume at all 🤷🏻♀️ I assume it needed to macerate🤷🏻♀️I will say this is definitely a unique mango perfume that has been keeping me on my toes🤣🤣🤣 it’s definitely not like any of my other mango perfumes🤓🤓🤓 I definitely like this perfume more than I did two weeks ago. but I’m kind of like you, I was expecting the mango to be different than what it is. I’m definitely still in the “dating” phase with this perfume 🤣🤣🤣 getting to know the perfume and figure out if it’s a love or a like. If it’s a keeper or a Declutter. At this moment in time, I would say that I like it and it’s very intriguing and unique 🤓🤓🤓I LOVE the body shops mango body butter 🤗😋 they have so many amazing smelling body care items🤗😋
I gave my riffacat to my son, i didn’t like that Smokey strong burned tire smell 🤢 that is how it smelled when i first got it and i didn’t give it a chance! O well lucky him 😂
Every time Nick and April check in w/ Danielle about how she’s feeling and if they should slow down etc it seems so inauthentic. I can’t tell if the storyline is fake and they’re acting or if they’re just going through the motions to ease D’s anxiety but it seems off
I haven’t watched Love is Blind recently so I haven’t been keeping up with what’s going on. I personally think a lot (not all) of the men and women on that show are looking for their 15 minutes of fame. Like that one creep that had a girlfriend back home and he went on the show manipulating all the women into thinking that he was going to marry them but all he wanted was to boost his career🤦🏼♀️ So a lot of this is fake but I also do think it’s possible to find love on a show like that🤓😋 I still think Amber and Boston Rob from Survivor (2004) was the most romantic love story of any reality TV series. They are still married and have four kids and I think that is so precious 😋😋😋
I believe I’ve had mine for about a month maybe two months now I can’t remember exactly🤔 some perfumes just don’t work on peoples body chemistries🤷🏻♀️ like for instance I love the smell of Baccarat Rouge 540 on other people, but with my skin chemistry, it just smells like Pine-Sol 🤷🏻♀️🤣😋
