You must not fish. Cause gts can easily bite something cranked at full speed.

@@FishingChef Are you going to Hawaii soon? Maybe I can help. This water is still WAY cleaner than what we are use to in the Bay Area =) Its also next to a boat harbor, which is inside a bay so the water isn't as clean as the open ocean.
broooo I've always wondered how gulf coast fishing tactics would work in hawaii. Look into popping corks and tandem rigs
I fish the gulf and these are two of my favorite rigs to throw. Going to Oahu to fish this June, I'll let you know how they do. I'll be kayak and paddle board fishing mainly.

If u see this I’m going to Hawaii soon and it’s been a while since I’ve been there. I’m 14 now the last time I was here I was 10 and I was just trying to catch little reef fish. The only rod I can bring is a medium light ugly stick that’s like 6’ 6”. I’ve caught tuna on this rod, so it can do work. I was just wondering where I should fish at and what I should use. If u need me to explain more so u can help me out I will do so.
Cool man! Get a jerk bait like an sp minnow and go to the ala moana park area. There are tons of little barracuda in the ponds at the park and near the boat area. Check out shaka fishing or Moon fishing they are great channels too

wow you actually fish with 3 rods and 3 reels each fishing trip? And how do you know that your reel can handle a big fish in case you encounter one? And is it costly living in hawaii ?
Yes very expensive but I live in CA which is similar. I bring 3 because you never know what fish will be out there. Sometimes you need to switch quickly to something smaller or different color.

Nick, as a Hawaiian growing up when it came to fishing we never spoke about it before we went fishing and during our fishing. You wouldn’t hear us talk about or we going we’re going holo holo, if we were going to leave the Nets my father would start doing things indicating he’s getting ready to go out none of us would question or ask questions we would just fall into place and help. Went fishing with Paul’s you wouldn’t he was yelling or talking loud about catching things or what we catching. I don’t know if it’s a family thing or a Hawaiian thing. But often times you will see people turn off when when someone is asking a lot of questions. But because I know that you’re a RUclips influencer I would be accepting and willing to communicate while you’re asking questions. But if Hawaiians are around and they don’t know you please do not be offended if they don’t answer you or are receptive to you it’s a cultural thing. I know this video is three years old but I thought I would share a perspective from a native Hawaiian
