My 4 yr old niece is biracial, has super thick coily curly hair that's tighter and frizzier in front, softer looser curls in back and I'm always looking for cute styles that don't need extra hair added. Her dance recital is Saturday, Trolls theme and I'm thinking about doing buns like this as there's not set requirements for their style. I just bought the clips and a bonnet at the beauty supply store lol, and I'm going to try soaking her rubber bands in oil before I use them, they are forever breaking either as I put them in or overnight. I also redo her style about every second or third day because by then it's looking ratty plus wrapping around whatever kind of rubber band, hair tie or balls I use.

I always love the butterfly clips they so cute🦋 When my daughter was a baby I use to use butterfly clips and style it just like that or I use the cute little clamps😻
