I was surprised about the fast automatic gearbox, sound from the outside is not that good and definitely needs an upgrade, on the inside you can hear the turbo very clearly. Couldn’t pushed it to 5000+ RPM but I think that turbo will give a good kick! And its practically the Mercedes A45s engine, so maybe Brabus can tune it with some more Horsepower 😏
@@CarspotterJeroen I was impressed with the gear changes as well with your pov. You can hear all the character of that motor which to me is very cool. Yes, dial up the psi just a bit and it's gonna get fun.

The built quality of this car is shocking… if you put this and 296 GTB side by side, you will be shocked how garbage a 350.000€ Ferrari is (plastics / paint quality / leather / details…) Ferrari is same as Dacia in terms of quality. Whereas this little car feels expensive once inside and it is shockingly better built. Even in driving, it does NOT feel like a 80k € car. It feels and looks like a 180k - 200k € supercar. The 2.0 amg engine version is better in my opinion because feels lighter to drive, better weight distribution and most importantly the gearbox… this one is instant. A simple Stage 1 for ~600€ can get you to 420 hp. This car worth every dollar / penny / euro 🙂
Are you a fan boi or actually owned a Ferrari? I understand the Lotus has its quality issues too and customer care isn't great, but have no direct experience. Do you on this too? Having just sat in one so far, the interior is impressive for a British car or relative to past Lotus cars, but not superior to a new Ferrari like the 296.
Rather have a 981 S/GTS, rev it out to near 8k, flat 6 sound and half the price. The emira 2.0 sound slice it's farting, rather the V6. If you want power, buy an EV

You can't be serious....look at the specs and build of the amg engine. Then compare it to a 16yr old camry engine that toyota doesn't even use anymore...lol.

Looks like it's confirmed US cars getting updated DCT calibration and 400hp for I4.

Love your verdict, I can only agree. Sadly they are around 135k in the Netherlands because of the taxes. But still a good price for what you get.
