Katey Sagal is one of the greatest actresses of all time! This wonderful woman deserves all of her flowers from MWC, 8 Simple Rules, Sons of Anarchy, Futurama,etc. She’s a legend.
Im from Israel and we grew up with the bundies! here they are still consider super classic that everybody in love with and know all the episode. this is a unique A television phenomenon So many funny punchlines that you could fill 10 television series with them, not just one. And a level of acting that was not and will not be in any comedy

Back when this great show was on the air.. we all thought Peggy Bundy was just an anomaly among women. Now, with AOC in Congress.. we know they are the norm in many places...

She "started a business" that she never payed the taxes on after it failed, then she got a "bar tending job" without any qualifications (you have to have attended bar tending school and have graduated and gotten a certificate). Just like Peggy Bundy, we know now her entire life is a lie. Through the series, we find out that Al didn't know about her or her notorious family of liars till after they were married. Peggy wants the trappings of marriage without doing any of the work, just like AOC wants the benefits of being in Congress without doing anything of substance.
She didn’t set good examples to mothers. There should be a show where mothers are devoted to their kids and love them madly. Protecting them. Anyone knows of such shows? If not, I should create one like that. 😢❤
There were plenty of shows like that back then. The writers of this show were actually brilliant for creating the opposite. I’m pretty sure there were kids that dealt with this type of mom unfortunately
When we watch this we feel better about ourselves because we are usually better than the Bundy's. A perfect happy family show would depress some of us because it's something we never had.
