I hate the quiet mode as well. Why don't make a railway crossing at full vol untill the gates go down and then quiet them like Australia. Even in my town the crossing ebells are so pound I can here them but no one is bothered. Seriously 🥝🚞
What i find neat about this crossing is that the crossbuck, lights, and bell anre mounted on a sub-pole sticking out of the main pole instead of attached on the main pole like in America and Australia! I'm glad the one Griswold singal is still in place!
Sadly getting rarer and rarer now. It's got the point now where it's almost impossible to find Griswold lights that still have their original light bulbs, but at least the upgrades have been done int he interests of safety, which is never a bad thing.
@@the_alex_ellis_channel6923 in napier and hastings they have griswold lights still there and in the future they are putting in pedestrian gates and more lights like WCH lights too
Now you see exacly what i was talking about, I hate the e-bells at this level crossing!!! This is an accident waiting to happen and Kiwirail just don't want to know about it!!!
I hate how quiet the E-Bells are here. Glad I got a shot before they replaced the barriers.

@@ketutsunada5405 same and if any other crossings have the extremely quiet for pedestrians it is extremely dangerous
Vertical mounted flashers are even rare in the US. Only Caltrain and Denver RTD's pedestrian crossings does it regularly
Paekakariki is quite a catchy name.

Also I found an old video of Paikakariki level crossing drying the early 2000s
I seem to not know how to send a link
I'm on a phone
There is one in Dunedin.
It might be in Auckland
I Like How The E-Bells Are Fast But I Hate How Their So Quiet
Nice! Where is this?
Are you serious? It's in the bloody title, and I say it in the video!
I think it is in New Zealand
HAHAHAHAHAHAH!!! I had to laugh.
I think it may be on Beach Road
Looks more American now.. The gates are odd looking, but the lights and sign are much more American..
3:12 Gross mate...😄
maybe
There's a level crossing in Timaru with vertical lights on one side. Here's the link to the video of it: ruclips.net/video/KcU_WzUc6pE/видео.html
