I put this song on repeat yesterday while working. I listened to it for about 9 hours straight and I don’t regret a single moment of it. I don’t know why I’m just now discovering it, but I can’t get enough of it.
I just put it on repeat and turned up the volume. Listening and singing while I work on a painting. I dunno if I'll go 9 hours straight, but this song is just incredible!
Many nights have I heard her voice Whisper my name without making a noise Calling out from a pure, black void Tears of sorrow or tears of joy Drops in my cup as my mind is destroyed Staring into a pure, black void So what if I'm living out past the edge? So what if I never come back again? Many evils have I enjoyed Prowling the night raising hell with the boys Getting high on a pure, black void I am only an aimless soul Heading into a pure, black void So what if I'm living out past the edge? So what if I never come back again? Where can you go when it's all in your head? These are the last words that I ever said Where can you go when it's all in your head? I am only an aimless soul Heading into a pure, black void I am only an aimless soul Heading into a pure, black void
Starting at 3:34: Lauren Boebert, then Marjorie Taylor Greene....and then some more Republican beyotches....but where's Ivanka? Why, turns out she's the star of the show! The End.
This was such an awesome album! Such an energetic, complex sound overall compared to the band's classic slower fare, which is also amazing. Just a total different feel with this album. I love it. I'm binge-listening to everything Lord Huron today, lol.
You know what? They're kinda like angels from Doctor Who, stone frozen if you look at them, chase you everywhere, by taking a manekin pose she became one... The video is so cool, song is awesome. Simple melody, complex story, Lord Huron is an amazing band.
This album was quite divisive among fans as it's quite the departure from their previous work. You can't go wrong with any songs from it, my personal favourite is The Balancer's Eye. Their newest album is pretty nice too but rather mellow. I quite liked the heavy grooves in Vide Noir, I prefer it to all the rest.

I did similar things when i found it. Just something an aimless soul would do..
there's something wrong with you. only songs id even consider listening to twice is 2 minute ones
I got stuck on it 2. It's beautifully composed.
As he peered into the void the void peered into him and thus became the void the unknown aimless soul🫠
Many nights have I heard her voice
Whisper my name without making a noise
Calling out from a pure, black void
Tears of sorrow or tears of joy
Drops in my cup as my mind is destroyed
Staring into a pure, black void
So what if I'm living out past the edge?
So what if I never come back again?
Many evils have I enjoyed
Prowling the night raising hell with the boys
Getting high on a pure, black void
I am only an aimless soul
Heading into a pure, black void
So what if I'm living out past the edge?
So what if I never come back again?
Where can you go when it's all in your head?
These are the last words that I ever said
Where can you go when it's all in your head?
I am only an aimless soul
Heading into a pure, black void
I am only an aimless soul
Heading into a pure, black void
Thank you so much for the lyrics!
One of my favorite episodes of The Twilight Zone paired with Lord Huron. Masterpiece
Lord Huron sure can tell a good story.

They compliment each other well. Nice job.

Got that right!
This is brilliant, mixing my favorite Lord Huron song with the Twilight Zone! Thank you for the lyrics as well!
They mystery of a Lord Huron song coupled with the utter bizarre of The Twilight Zone. Just seems right, doesn't it?
Radio Paradise plays this song regularly, what a great band. It's so rare these days to find new music that appeals to me, Lord Huron rocks
Ive discovered them on Paradise too
Most underrated band in the universe. I kinda like it that way.
Huron did it again 😂 love the sound
This was between my liked songs for a while, and suddenly it hit me. This song is a fucking banger.
That was Kool. !.

Great song & cheers to Rod Serling
This is pure class
This show knew how to make mannequins horrifying in a simple way.
That's Alfred Hitchcock for you.
@@flou1908 That's Rod Serling for you. This is from Twilight Zone.
Does this band have any other songs like this? I like their other stuff too, the popular songs, but this one is a masterpiece
I would also like to know
The entire Vide Noir album has vibes similar to this. I’d try The Balancers Eye, Secret of Life, and Anicent Names :)

I made love to this song
Hell yeah
3:39 so that's where Alicia silverstone has been hiding?
what do you think that 'pure black void' might be?
pure black void might be describing the place a person goes when they realize they never were the egoic self they grew up believing they were
Where morgoth lives
I have found a new lyric video about this song, and it is in English.
Right here. ruclips.net/video/vtWuKMsWoyo/видео.html
Actress looks like Carrie Mulligan
Am I the only one who thinks this entire album screams No Man's Sky?
