Coming from someone that’s playing their first forza game…the information given at first was a lot to take in especially seeing the game for the first time and not knowing at all what to do first or how to access all the free gifts that come with the game. After watching this video however, I feel a lot better with the game and understand a lot more about the game and what I need to do to get going. Definitely look up tuning videos on here as well. Tuning your cars will help you control them. For example, you build a car up and when you try to accelerate your tires spin and you cant control it. Tuning will change that, and change the whole game for you! Good luck! Ive been playing since the original, and its a Blast!!

This is such a good explainer video. I have played for about 5 hours and have quite enjoyed just doing the random challenges but I honestly didn’t really understand how I was unlocking things. Such a good overview of what I should be focusing on to progress!

I bought the Premium Edition and by the time you posted this video until now, I still can't access the Forzathon Shop and the both of the Season Reward Cars in my Playlist aren't the same as yours!
I miss the simple UI and gameplay of Need for Speed Underground 1 & 2 era. I think Forza Horizon 5 has confusingly excessive amount of different collectibles, points, rewards. Sometimes developers should know less is more. They just make things unnecessarily complicated. Why is XP and cash rewards not enough? Why can't events pop up on our maps progressively based on the difficulty as we beat races. So many menus, so many conditions... I feel myself lost. This is not the feeling I'm after when I come from work and sit on couch to play something. They lost me for this reason. I just killed an hour or two and lost interest due to sheer amount of details, will probably not launch the game again.
100% agree. It started in Horizon 3 to go to crap. I still like the Horizons but it's like they're trying to attract people that get bored so they fill the game with tonnes of stuff.
@@jayganga9921 Extra stuff does not equal a better game. Actually the opposite - the less a game needs to keep you hooked means it's core design is better and doesn't need fluff. That's how games used to be 10+ years ago.

how to unlock forza link ? When I click on the option in the menu, it tells me it's locked and I need to continue playing to unlock it, so it's definitely an unlockable. I just don't know what unlocks it.. mine is level 30 and 1 more think i unable to go horizon life... sad (steam version)
Having huge problems Series X constantly losing connection. When friends join can't see each other's cars or on the map. The forzathon shop isn't available the series play list works when it wants. Horizon adventure street scene has 1st tick but it's not complete and don't have any festival or any of the street scene race's.
I'm level 36 with like 100+ cars and heaps of money but been to lazy to do any Races😂 I usually just do car meets. Actually forgot you can have houses on this game like FH4
What I don't know is how to enter the festival race, the game says: press enter to enter, but pressing enter members me into the menu, where you can change the name, vehicles etc

So I was trying to figure out why I've got three tokens to unlock a couple of the remaining horizon adventures but it won't let me it says I need to progress more through the game. Idk why this seems more difficult for me to to understand than the past horizon games. Fh3 was one of the best games in terms of how they had the progression of campaign. I guess I'll just keep running around doing races and also the accolades and hopefully it'll finally let me pick one to continue the campaign.

I'm playing on xbox one and I've encountered numerous problems and issues. The game is really slow and glitches. My progress doesn't save when i go back to play. I can't access the forzathon shop and the festival playlist is broken. All been hyped up for nothing, what a waste of money.
Pretty sure forzathon shop can’t be accessed till the games proper release on the 9th, I’m playing it on the first Xbox and it seems to be fine for me just long loading screens
@@nebe0719 They shouldn't be releasing the game on old gen consoles if they know users will be getting problems. Reminds me of what happened with cyberpunk. Anyway some channels on here got early access before any of us to show us the game but they were all using new gen consoles because the devs know the game won't play well on old gen consoles but were going to release it anyway.
