Install Kali Linux on Windows | WSL 2 GUI | Kali Linux GUI on Windows 10 | Subtitle

How to get Kali Linux installed and running on WSL 2 on a Windows 10 PC. This video will also show a GUI working with Kali Linux. By default, when we install Kali Linux with WSL 2, we won't have a GUI, but in this video you'll find how to get that installed and configured.
To enable the WSL or Windows Subsystem Linux feature:
Open Powershell as An Administrator and run this command:
Enable-WindowsOptionalFeature -Online -FeatureName Microsoft-Windows-Subsystem-Linux
(1) dism.exe /online /enable-feature /featurename:VirtualMachinePlatform /all /norestart
(2) dism.exe /online /enable-feature /featurename:Microsoft-Windows-Subsystem-Linux /all /norestart
Restart the PC
Download WSL 2 Linux Kernel from Microsoft's Official Website:
docs.microsoft...
Then open Powershell as An Administrator and put the below commands:
Set WSL 2 as default: wsl --set-default-version 2
To list the running Linux instance over WSL: wsl --list --verbose
Now Go to Microsoft Store: Search for Kali Linux App and then GET it.
Once the download gets done, you can launch it from Start Menu.
Set a new user name/Password for this Kali Linux instance.
Check the Kali Linux OS Release: cat /etc/os-release
To get the Graphical User Interface:

Update & Upgrade the packages of Kali Linux by this command:
sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade -y
To open the Desktop Envioronment install kali-desktop-xfce:
sudo apt install kali-desktop-xfce -y
To get XRDP feature : sudo apt install xrdp -y
To start the XRDP service: sudo service xrdp start
To check the IP address of Kali Linux: ifconfig
