Mugi has actually made me realize that One Piece, can indeed, be summarized in one sentence as: “A crackhead and his band of lunatics getting involved in a country they had nothing to do with.”
@@regiman222 I am not sure "goofy" is the right word for One Piece. Goofy implies eccentrism. It's too mild of a description. Absurdism is a better word to describe the absolute insanity that goes on in One Piece.
Enel shouldn't have gotten them involved in the first place. If he just said 'Hey, let them pass', there's a chance he'd have been able to get Deathpia finished up without issue. but he had to try and wipe out the crew and make Conis take part in it. For the longest time I assumed the skipping skypeia thing was a meme, it blew my mind to find out that a decent number of people actually did it. If for some reason someone seeing this comment skipped it or is struggling to finish it, I really do recommend reading it at least? I definitely understand the anime experience can feel like a slog, it’s probably the worst pretimeskip arc in terms of filler, but the manga experience is great and skypeia is one of the best and in hindsight one of the most important arcs in the entire story
In the early 2000's One Piece was on Toonami in America and it didn't go all the way through the arc, it stopped after the fat angel fight. This frustrated a lot of people who once they found ways to actually see the show again they just went on to the next arc. Then skipping it went word of mouth and it became a meme.
@@swimmingmidewere they retarded or something They spent more episodes fighting a candle man which felt like an eternity But a fat millet dumpling is their breaking point?
No lol it was very much a real thing. It used to be seen as a "filler" arc up until we passed the 1000 chapter mark in the manga. Since then it has really appreciated in value for how much it sets up
Nowadays (thankfully) Skypiea has gotten the recognition it deserves. But yeah, up until a few of years ago people used to skip it because they thought it was "disconnected" from the main story. I love how it turned out to be one of the most important pre-timeskip arcs lol
I did react videos for the rest and all I can say is he has 100% caught the ways this is being done with the intent to have a good time at the same time as being full of just random crackhead energy

@@Lego_Jesus1Alabasta got some funny moments but you can't really compare early one piece comedy to later arcs. The stakes are different and the gags have been run up and down the yard. Just doesn't feel as funny.
I love how Mugi’s videos will randomly have the straw hats discuss genuinely interesting philosophical and moral questions just to devolve back into mindless violence within seconds.
Skypea is one of the more important arcs for the late game of One Piece, a lot of things are set up there that arent payed off until around Wano. And it is also the first arc where Robin is a part of the crew before Water 7 where she has her moment, if you skip this arc, its like you watch Usopps story, but you only watch his introduction episodes, little garden, and then end at Water 7. Despite missing the larger parts of the one piece story, Usopps story is more then joining the crew, then finding some giants, then having a fight with the captain. And just as in this theoretical straw pirate i have set up to punch down, if you only watch Alabaster, then head straight to Water 7, you miss all the time Robin just chills with the crew, get to know them, and get to see first hand how Luffy is. If Skypea never happened, Robbin would not only not care if the crew got blasted to the next centaury, but she would also not accept their help when they would come for her.
@@tiagopacheco4654 I agree, and i feel like we wont see anything like that ever again, at least i cant remember any more moment of all of the crew all just wibing together. From Water 7 and out, all the crew moments and huge moments but only one at the time.

If you know you know. -I think the reason I love Skypiea sooo much is just how much foreshadowing & mysteries are packed into that Arc. -Also Noland’s Statue makes an appearance in Dressrosa’s Green Bit Tontatta Fairy Land, as a grand deliverer who helped protect their jungle and show them how to grow their jungle and home underground better as he was a world class botanist and saved their people from a plant based disease just like back at Shandora. -It just goes to show that Skypiea STILL CONTINUES to be ever-present in future One Piece arcs and I’m super excited to see how The Ancient Golden City of Shandora plays a role in the Ancient Kingdom Arc that we will surely get sometime before the end of the Series ala Turn Back The Pendulum Arc from Bleach.

Barto is a real one (he’s insane)
So like Robin was really chillin the whole time while the strawhats were arguing about god
9:25 my favorite part! That was the most believable NAMI-SWAN I've ever heard. You became the pocket-pooler with that one!
Mugi, you are so good at channeling the insane energy of OP, and ESPECIALLY the Straw Hats, into fresh takes and perspectives. The conversation between Sanji, Usopp, and Luffy on the boat was killing me lmaooo
"All we brought to this island was problems, no cap!"
i love when he was describing wyper that it also perfectly described luffy
goofy basically got me addicted to crack and then proceeded to take his time supplying me with my daily dose
Alabasta, arlong park, dressrosa, wapol, skypiea, and now wano😂😂atp I’m surprised they’re not accidentally considered freedom fighters
That's bcuz they half rekt a country everytime.
Pretty sure people offer them food as a pacification gift and to see if they leave.
Everybody knows crackheads with a full belly can't seat still
They kinda are, at least by those countries
@@_Lumiere_ I get that but just saying with the frequency you would have thought that the newspaper would dub them honorary foo fighters
@@luci9357theyre pro marine 😂
"2 beautiful ladies, with 4 beautiful breasteses" is the most Sanji thing I've ever heard lmfaoooo
@@swimmingmidewere they retarded or something
They spent more episodes fighting a candle man which felt like an eternity
But a fat millet dumpling is their breaking point?
Thats nuts, its an island IN THE SKY
"I lost a rock paper scissors match against a crab the other day" I laughed out loud 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
People skipping skypea better be an urban legend or a joke
You can't be unironically missing on greatness
No lol it was very much a real thing. It used to be seen as a "filler" arc up until we passed the 1000 chapter mark in the manga. Since then it has really appreciated in value for how much it sets up
Nowadays (thankfully) Skypiea has gotten the recognition it deserves. But yeah, up until a few of years ago people used to skip it because they thought it was "disconnected" from the main story. I love how it turned out to be one of the most important pre-timeskip arcs lol
I love how your narrating is slowly turning into a kind of 'One Piece Abridged Goofy edition' 😆🔥
I did react videos for the rest and all I can say is he has 100% caught the ways this is being done with the intent to have a good time at the same time as being full of just random crackhead energy
U made a mistake its 'One Piece Abridged Crackhead edition'
"That's the dumbest thing I ever heard. And I lost a game of rock paper scissors against a grab the other day!" 🤣🤣 absolute comedy gold
I'm just imagining Luffy going "I choose paper!" and the crab just pinches his hand and he goes "Oh yeah that gets beaten by scissors. I should have chosen rock."
Genuinely the second funniest arc right behind Thriller Bark
cap
Alabastas probably the best one, and Wano when it comes out
@@Lego_Jesus1Wano isn’t really that funny compared to other arcs lol
Between Alabasta and water 7 I believe we have the best crew moments. From goofy dialog on the ship till the point they fight each other and grow
@@tiagopacheco4654 I agree, and i feel like we wont see anything like that ever again, at least i cant remember any more moment of all of the crew all just wibing together.
From Water 7 and out, all the crew moments and huge moments but only one at the time.
@@Fixti0n the crew was just separated for a long time. You see Oda trying to bring it back with Wano and now egghead
@@tiagopacheco4654 Water 7 was Chapter 323 and episode 229, they came out in 2005, if you were born then, you are old enough to drive now.
Am sorry to date you, but Water 7 was a long long time ago.
@@Fixti0n bruh I was alive when ODA made the first sketches of One Piece.
Dunno what you are trying to do but if I need to know my birthday I can look into n my iD card
The commercial break happening just as Kuina enters the frame was comedic irony.
This is the best "[arc] is hilarious" episode yet. This is almost One Piece Abridged. It had me cackling from beginning to end
Best one piece related channel in my opinion. Got me rolling every time😂 “SHUT UP DUMMY!”😂😂
Lowkey my favorite joke 😂😂
11:30 the funny thing is i think Nami has prayed more than any strawhat. And Usopp is gonna change his mind fast on Thriller Bark.
Nami loves Gold, not God.
Remember, cant spell gold without god
Need more of these Arc analysations, the way he speaks from other’s perspective on Luffy is hilarious😂😂
Also true
I hope one day he’s gonna have every arc down, Romance Dawn to Egghead Island (And beyond) - I can’t wait for the day I get to watch them all back to back in chronological order
The Black Panther stray took me out more thoroughly than it should have
I love these videos man. My wife is watching through one-piece rn whenever she finishes an arc I show her your corresponding video and we get a great laugh out of it
Skypiea is mai most favorite Arc still TO THIS DAY!!!
Skypiea Foreshadows: (*Spoilers Below):
-Observation Haki
-Advanced Observation Haki
-Advanced Armament Haki (Satori vs. Luffy/Sanji/Usopp)
-The Voice of All Things (Aisa’s Advanced Observation Haki Ability)
-Stacking Devil Fruit Abilities with Haki (Enel’s 20,000km Sonar of his Rumble~Rumble Fruit and Advanced Observation Haki stacked together)
-The Poneglyphs’ greater connection to The World of One Piece
-That Roger and Oden DID go to Skypiea
-The Arc Maxim & Deathpiea Attack being analogous to how Uranus/The Mother Flame most likely works
-Enel’s SUPER IMPORTANT Moon Cover Story
-How Vegapunk’s Homeland is linked to the Moon
-That the Original Birkans/Shandorians/Skypieans came down from The Moon after running out of resources
-Ancient Weapons Hieroglyphs in the Moon
-I also love how the Skypieans came from the Moon to the Sky, and the Shandorans were water spout blasted from the Earth to the Sky for both races from completely different environments living in a “let’s meet in the middle” area of the One Piece-verse.
-Also the Shandorans revered the Sun God sooo much that they made living sacrifices to the Sun God, Rain God, Earth God, and Forest God Alter for centuries.
Skypiea was actually the arc where I originally fell off with one piece as a kid and it was mugi goofs videos that got me to pick one piece back up and take the challenge to get caught up on one piece in but 2 months time. That was back when wano was just wrapping up in the manga and here we are all this time later and his content is still amazing!
The chopper rudolf beef is something I didn’t know I needed
The small rant about black panther calling white people colonizers was very unexpected but funny lol
God, i love Your videos Mr.Goofy... I caught myself at rewatching "Is Hilarious" series every goddamn day. They're like a drug to me... I'm begging You, PLEASE make 'em faster
you missed the part where a pack of wolves rolled up on them, they beat up the wolves, and the wolves just decided to party with them.
I love this series, it's one part recap, one part abridge series. 10/10 content
I thought more of this was gunna be from Enel's direct perspective, instead of just recapping it but with Enel watching with Mantra. I wish there were more reactions from Enel in this video.
Would have been a lot shorter from only/mainly Enel’s perspective.
Though even that said, this effectively _is_ from his POV. He has an absurd range with ‘mantra’, and he’s actually done, like, two things by this point.
Yeah, you'd think that he'd comment on his backstory with Ganfall.
In part 2 there would probably more from enels perspective directly because Enel will show up more like in the actual arc
I cant wait for enel to return. He's just gonna go in, ready to run the ones, spitting fire bars the whole time.
"Now luffy, dont you cry cause your crews aboutta die"
“Yo-ho-ho I took a bite of Rum-ble”
Luffy grabs Enel's lightning "you really thought you were cooking didn't you"
@@vaiyt so did a certain Walt White and just look how that ended
Always a good day when mugiwara publishes a video
I love your channel so much. I binge-read One Piece recently for the first time and finding this channel makes me appreciate how amazing Oda is as a writer. Just basing a comedy channel around his work allows a talented individual such as Mugi to create great videos that very few things can make me not watch immediately after seeing a new one. I watched this hours ago and came back just to write this (and probably watch it again). This channel is going to blow up soon, make sure you leave your long comments now before Mugi can´t read them all!
Skypea is my most favorite, and I think it's the synopsis of the whole One Piece.
It's the teamwork dynamic that would play among the straw hat crew.
And it's the first time we learn how crucial it is to have Robin.
Yes more stand up comedy, please get Patron and put on tour to do your one piece and other anime jokes. I promise it will be amazing
8:18 YOU TELL HIM LUFFY! 😤
YOU CAN'T BECOME THE KING OF THE PIRATES WITH NO DRIP! 😤
You know I can hear it in my head. The voice of mugiwara no goofy pretending to be "god" saying "what the hell is rubber?" Probably followed up by the phrase "your flabbergasted"
12:35
ENEL. IS THIS HOW YOU FACE ME. COWARD
Always a good day when a new (insert arc) is hilarious drops
Can't wait for you to create your Only Fans!!!

Been using the “so, walk with me” line in my work presentations lately.
Zoro a literal traveling monk.
Sanj : Don't disrespect religion!
13:27 "I think I might take up a strictly seafood diet out of spite."
22:11 absolutely hilarious, also I've been waiting for this one and it didn't disappoint.
6:20 i love how robin is just casually teleporting back sanji and zoro
PLEASE TALK ABOUT LONG RING LONG LAND the real most skipped arc underrated Shelly and tonjits reunion ride is the most beautiful pre time skip scene brings me to tears everytime
Man, I thought "kicked off the force for police brutality" and "cowboy hat robin" were my favorite things, but there is something about "French Kick!" That just makes me laugh hard. Like, there is never a point were that won't work.
I love how this framing device with Enel as the POV makes it so we can pretty much just do a normal recap of skypiea while talking about how ridiculous everything is
Finally! Skypea is so underrated
Oooo what a dope Saturday treat. Thank you man, you absolutely kill these creative narrations!
15:11 I never thought about that point 😂💀💀💀
I have to admit I kinda enjoy watching your commentary more than the actual episodes 😅
Another banger goofy mugiwara video, I can’t wait for the next part and the inevitable Wano is hilarious from Kaido’s Pov
It’s likely going to be from everyone else pov as they watch Luffy just go nuts as their boss is just there getting more excited by Luffy with each crazy thing he does
@@mrbubbles6468 that’s a cool idea, I was thinking how Kaido swept the floor with Luffy early then suddenly he punched kaido hard in the rooftop, and have some joke about his drunk ptsd w oden and his retainers
I WAS WAITING FOR THIS!!! WOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! I LOVE YOUR CONTENT, MAN.
21:00 Forgot about how this guy just ran up on the crew 😂
If Mugi Goof feels really funny, he‘s going to do G-8 and Long Ring Long Land even though the first one is a filler because it’s hilarious. This channel is not about any deep dive into One Piece material, it’s about the hilarity of it all. I predict he'll do it
Your speech pattern when talking as ussop is so accurate you’d honestly be a good fit for his voice in general
OMG THE GIRTH PART KILLED ME
"As the three of them argue, the PILLSBURY DOUGHBOY jumps out from one of the trees and challenges the STRAW HATS to a fight" "HESO, welcome to the BALL ordeal"
Mugi's Dialogue is now cannon to me! 😂
love the quality upgrade brother, Can't wait for more of the "Is Hilarious" videos - funny as hell
We are witnessing the rise of Mugi and im here for it
Dawg, I cackled at "French kick"
Especially with what we've learned was actually foreshadowed in skypeia, it's really sad that people skip it
I watched it all the way thru on all my watches of the show, skypeia is goated
Facts u cry every time
I remember really loving Skypiea and I rewatched it a couple times. I still forgot that Enel is considered God. This crackhead literally ran the ones with God.
“Lost a rock, paper, scissors match to a crab” is 1000000000% my new go-to insult, I haven’t laughed that hard in a MINUTE.
