At least we’ve got a dry day on our hands! Another day cracking on with the rebuild of a fallen section of a dry stone wall. #construction #stonework #drystonewalling
Yes mate defo, it’s quite compact with a mix of stone & rubble but to be honest I reckon the ground ivy is keeping it up as well as the baby trees! Thanks for watching as usual matey 👍
Well, well - philosophical discourse concerning brain-stimulation and electronic devices! Between two muddy stonemasons? Who'd have thought it! Josh, can't believe you've asked you wife to patch up the old blue tarp - how much did your vocabulary improve? Wall looks bloody good by the way!
Your attention to detail on a haphazard appearance is very enjoyable to watch. However, I must advise you that someone who does as thorough work as yours, will never be rich! Ha Ha.
Coming along nicely Josh, doing a bit break dancing there 🤣, lucky that embankment never got washed down with the amount of rain you had ☔👍👍

Thanks Cory. To be honest I’d rather always have work and be content than rich. Appreciate you watching 👍
Should you use geo fabric to keep dirt out of the wall?
Suppose you could if you wanted. But if you build traditional & tight you don’t.
@@J.HarveyStonework ok rock on!
Do you have a lot of clay in your area?
Sometimes, in lower areas yes. But it’s quite rare to be honest.
@@J.HarveyStonework the area I'm in is basically all red clay. If you were in this area, would you utilize the red clay?
Personally no, I would dig out a bit wider.
Добрый день🖐подскажите ,что за камень Вы используете ?это известняк ?
