Wing footage with a new camera setup - what do you think?

- New videos to come for this season..... So we picked up a used lens and body, in an attempt to get some better long lens shots. The upper end kit is getting cheap now, so we decided to dive in.. (hoping it doesn't break!)

Cannon 1DX MkII
4k @50fps reduced to 60% speed - so here shown at 30fps at 1080p for youtube.
What do you think? The lens gives the sea a completely different feel.
This is Pete Jones at our Local "foiler's bay" with the Tracer 1030, Phazer V4 76, Freewinhg Air Team 5m. All shot from a fair old distance away!

Love it. I assume it is slowed down too.
50fps slowed down to 60% so there’s no chop at 30fps, but essentially slowed down 40%
It outputs hd at 100fps, so you can speed that up, but it doesn’t have the details to zoom in and stabilise…
At 800mm you get some wobble 😇

That’s like $7000 of camera equipment. It does look good though.
not these days - lots of these for sale used and they are a fraction of that... good for us! lol
