i think this card would be received quite differently if there was just a 16gb model for 350 or at most 400 dollars. it's solid for 1080p but absolutely not for 500.
Fr. I have this card, its good for 1080p hell even 1440p. But it doesnt give as much preformance as my 7700xt does in certain games. I only got the 4060ti 16gb cuz god of war kept crashing when pushing the 7700xt too hard. Or if i pressed the windows key it would crash. Fortnite would be blurry and unplayable at higher settings. Even at low settings i got terrible stutter, switched to 4060ti 16gb abd all those problems have dissapeared. I use dlss which is literally so good it changed my opinion on ai upscaling lol

Average FPS Ratings are the most confusing statements of a gpus performance. Testing the Minimum FPS (99% Percentiles, not overall average Min FPS) ist more important - that is were the 8GB Version will struggle alot on heavy VRAM-Usage. Overall its still close to the 16 GB Modell but it will feel so much more stuttery.........many reviews in the internet miss that point for some reason and this is basically one good point to get a 16GB Modell. Good to see its here. Problem is: its just like 50-60 bucks away from a RTX 4070 which adds another 30-40% GPU-HorsePower.....so this card should be around 150 dollars less then the RTX 4070.
Also in my region, I can’t actually buy it. On new egg and Best Buy it says out of stock. And Nvidia doesn’t list it on their shop. I wanna pick one of these up for ML and 1080p gaming and think ordering from MSI website shop is the only availability.
It's overal normal gpu but 500$ is to much because there are way better option rx7800 xt and iven less price rx 7700xt this gpu should be amazing if price was 350$-400$

I think this GPU can really handle with 2k at least, and this one is really like 2k GPU for exist titles, in new games there will be some problems ofc
New games are existing games, or do you mean future games. It has problems with games that have already come out and isn't a 1440p card at all.
