I love this song and how it has that double meaning. Since the title is what it is, it makes you think that he's talking about drugs and sex, but in reality he is comparing her and calling her his drug. He can't get enough and he loves that he has to keep on coming back to her, she is and keeps him high.

Update: It'll be 5 years in September since shes passed and I think its crazy how people still comment on what I originally said, im super grateful for the positivity still and hope all of u are doing well. She would have been 20 now and even tho its been years I still think of her from time to time. And since I put this comment on a music video I wanted to share with yall how much music meant to our friendship. You see some of the best moments we spent together were in bio class when we would listen to music together with our cord headphones (lmao remember those?). She loved rap and r&b especially Travis and J Cole, which kinda makes me sad now that his album finally came out cuz I know she would've loved to hear it. Hindsight is 20/20 and now I realize that most of the songs she would play for us to listen had a deeper meaning and were not just a cool beat, like this one. I really hope shes jamming out to the Cole album now up above tho🙏🏼
