I’ve never felt Mariah “sounded like Whitney.” Mariah actually sounds more like a young Michael Jackson. Whitney was all her own and if there was anyone who secretly had an influence on her “pop” sound, it was Donna Summer. Anyway...it’s hitting that 7 year mark next month on that dreadful Feburary day.
