If your mother had it, the recommend you get your first mammogram at the age 10 years before your mom was diagnosed (if it’s before the recommended age to start) . Step 1:
Lay out comforter flat on the floor or bed.
    Step 2:
    Flip duvet inside out.
    Step 3:
Lay duvet over top of comforter.
    Step 4:
Use a chip clip to connect the bottom corners of the duvet and the comforter.
    Step 5:
Flip the duvet right side out with the comforter attached.

Regarding cleaning out pores: The boring, skin care RUclipsr-y answer is gonna be BHAs, specifically salicylic acid. There’s also some serums that people use to massage the sebaceous filaments and gunk out of the pores, namely the mixsoon Bean Essence, if I’m not mistaken. I haven’t personally tried that one tho. I use salicylic acid and maybe once every other month I use one of these pore vacuums which you’re also not really supposed to do, haha!

I’m a fashion design major and this a semester I’m learning about sustainability and never knew/considered that some of the rising Brest cancer links to micro plastics in clothing (stretchy/non cotton bras, leggings, undergarments, etc), and it works in the same or a similar way to BPA with water bottles if that makes sense, and our skin is considered an organ/absorbs it. Ofc check it out for yourselves, but after learning about this changed a bit of how I think about clothing

Wanted to let you know I really appreciate you sharing your journey so intimately. I recently had a lump myself and your videos on Instagram really pushed me to get checked ASAP. My mammogram came back with just a dense breast diagnosis but your videos really help to take the scariness away from having to go through this stupid disease. So thank you so much for this and keep on taking that power away from the cancer. ✊

Thank you for the pore unclogging tip, here's a tip for putting the duvet cover on: turn the cover so it is inside out and find the corners, then get the top corners of your duvet grab them with your hands still in the corners of the cover and then shake/flap maybe even turn it into a dance, the cover will eventually cover properly the last thing to do is tuck the bottom corners in and button it up (I hope that made sense) 😊X

A couple of friend went through lymphoma and blood cancer during covid, was not able to join them physically during the ride and every time they would tell me the stories of chemo sessions i would picture them not like this hahaah i always thought it was painful. They are both in remission, two years and one year respectively. You got this ❤

Grace! Thank you for reminding us "younger women" (medical field terms) to trust our instincts and get checked. I am 25 years old and have been trying to find a gynecologist for my irregular periods. The first 2 doctors I saw said I was too young and seemed healthy based on my lab results but my third doctor finally listened to me and I was able to get a referral from them! We found out that I do have a small growth based on my ultrasound and will be looking into it some more with my gynecologist. So again, thank you for encouraging us to advocate for ourselves because sadly, us "younger" women often tend to get shut down by doctors. Wishing you all the best, you are an inspiration xx

Thank you so much for sharing your journey. I was diagnosed with stage 1B (lymph node involvement) breast cancer last summer. Had a double mastectomy, 8 rounds of chemo, and 25 rounds of daily radiation. I’m now No Evidence of Disease (NED) 🎉🥳😄💜I will be having reconstructive surgery on November 16th, finally.
I’ve met several other cancer warriors. No matter the treatment plan, cancer is a trauma and it’s a LOT physically, mentally, and emotionally. And it’s so hard to make yourself rest.
Just, thank you for sharing. No one knows what it’s like unless they’ve had cancer.
Thank you for showing what it’s like so others know. It’s a big deal and I appreciate you.
Sending all the love and strength on your your journey.

"I thought I knew what fatigue was... but I did not". I don't know chemo, but I do know ME/CFS (chronic fatigue syndrome) and I felt that line to my core. I wish healthy people could get to flip a switch and feel what it's like just for a tiny bit, I never knew to appreciate the days I had energy until I started having a lot of days where I did not. If they could feel what the word tired can mean, they too could learn to appreciate the good days which is honestly one of the best things about being chronically ill, you learn to appreciate things you used to take for granted.

Grace, I strongly suggest a drastic haircut. That alone is emotional in itself, but it prepare you a little better when hair starts to fall out. I was fully prepared and expecting my hair to fall out, and it was still super emotional for me. But I let myself grieve the loss of some of my hair, and I was able to move on. It's traumatic no matter what, I believe. I wish you the best, and don't forget to self care as often as you can.
Sending love and good vibes ❤
