      @Alanardo1989 you're welcome! If you have only 15 days left until, I would suggest that you cancel your auto-renewal as soon as possible. If you're going to get Norton 360 again, you may want to shop around because you will get a better price compared to the auto-renewal price. You can even check Amazon, you'll find the link in the description section.

    • @mattscomp
      @mattscomp Год назад

      @@AnthonyGodinho no worries! It would be unfair I think if they didn't allow you to add those extra days. Many people like to renew even a couple of months early. Norton's support chat are good to deal with thankfully.

    • @AnthonyGodinho
      @AnthonyGodinho  Год назад +1

      @mattscomp yes, I agree. I also always use the live online chat through which I've received good service from them. One of the recent changes that Norton made though has got a lot of users frustrated.
      It's the mandatory auto-renewal which requires users to enter a debit or credit card. And the renewal prices are way higher than what we can get when the product goes on sale. We are able to cancel the auto-renewal soon after, but most people don't want to add their debit or credit card.

    • @mattscomp
      @mattscomp Год назад +1

      @@AnthonyGodinho yeah the mandatory auto renewal needs to go! Trend Micro started doing the same thing. Their auto renew system can be bypassed by closing the software. I run a small retail shop and it's put me off selling both Trend and Norton. My customers mostly prefer to come back and buy the product again. Forcing users into signing up for renewal is just wrong.

    • @AnthonyGodinho
      @AnthonyGodinho  Год назад +1

      @mattscomp Yeah, I completely agree. I hope they do change that policy because I'm sure they've already lost a lot of customers.

    Hi guys, I purchased a Norton renewal from a computer store for a fraction of the price that Norton wanted to charge me... I went into their online chat and asked them to activate it... They promptly told me that I need to provide my credit card details... My reply was no.... They went into say that it's mandatory and bla bla bla... I asked them if they are sure they want to stand by that statement in court... It was only then that I was actually treated like a human being and my pre paid subscription was renewed without disclosing my credit card details....

    Now that I have solved wine with a new question: Those 3-5-10 devices that you can install norton on must be in the same house ??same network??? or can there be on 3-5-10 computers outside your network ???

    • @AnthonyGodinho

      Hi George, as far as I know, you can use the licenses within your household, but even if the computers are not on the same network. So for example, if you have kids who are in university, they should also be able to use the licenses at another location, outside your home/network. You manage all the licenses within your Norton online account. Hope this makes sense and helps...cheers!

    You shouldn't have to put in your credit card details.... And default shouldn't be auto update... I think that is very sneaky and the fact that they debit your account 2 months before your subscription expires is sneaky also... This will be my last year with norton for sure...

    • @AnthonyGodinho

      Yeah absolutely, it's a terrible practice Norton is using to force auto-renewal. Earlier, it used to be an option.
