Why find a human who "might" be a good hunter when your entire species ARE hunters. Found a video stating human prey is usually an initiation for the young bloods and the aliens are for intermediate hunters while killing an alien queen makes you an elite. To reach a higher status, you have to clear three alien nests with two other hunters of the same caliber.
Nope. They just like hunting humans because what we lack in pure physical strength we make up for with ingenuity, creativity and craftiness and on rare occasions humans impressive the predators enough that they invite some of us to become human predators. As far as we know two humans have been chosen to become human predators and if I had to guess Royce will become the 3rd.
Seeing that they kill just about every single human, that training recruitment would make 1 hell of a special forces team making the Navy Seals and British SAS look like boys scouts, and there is no quitting and going home saying that shit was tough I guess I'm not cut out to be special forces for the Predators, you either make it or you are killed off, there is no in between. I'm not sure the predators are bad ass. I mean even with all their high tech equipment and skill, they still get taken out by the (relatively speaking) primitive human. It would be like sending a navy seal or SAS operator back in time to fight cave men and losing.
Nick M-S To be fair it's a fight between the decidedly most dangerous and skilled humans on the planet against what are probably novice young Predators. I doubt the experienced Predators waste time hunting humans at all.

I try not to give every single part of the script away. I'll try to summarize it. There are many pictures and conversations I leave out on purpose so the fans will experience more by reading the comic book themselves.
perhaps he was after one of them and because they are skilled warriors and trackers that they found one another to fight a common goal, they don't specifically have to just throw them into one another I'm sure they knew of each others whereabouts the entire time he was just going through some tough shit and wanted to be alone for a while.
Totally agree with Crow Post - also Royce abandoning Isabella - they had bonded after their experience and so I don't see that as being credible, hes a natural loner but even in the movie he got to point where he admitted he needed the others.
It seems funny to me that Royce should be treated any different than Nolan. Nolan killed several of the Yautja himself, but that only resulted in a brief pause in the hunting, after which the Yautja returned to the planet with new tactics and gear and kept hunting him like before. But then again, maybe the fact that Royce and his companions managed to wipe out an entire trio of Yautja bought him some goodwill from the other faction? There are other examples of humans being accepted as allies and being adopted into hunting clans, so maybe they switched from considering him prey to some sort of potential Yautja. In the final battle he went up against the Berserker predator armed with nothing but an axe, some fire and his speed, and I imagine that is the kind of ballsy move that Yautja would appreciate. I thought Predators ended rather bleakly with the parachutes dropping out of the sky. "Right, here we go again! Open season.." So i would very much have liked there to be a sequel where Royce does not end up as a trophy on somebody's wall.
Wasn't there a secret ending, where Dutch was coming out a Predator ship, dressed in predator armour, taking the two of them with him and his predator allies? He was even acted by Schwarzenegger.
This comic book was so awesome, I love how the Yautja recognize strength, they decide to keep him alive to furthur study his abilities and avareness. i wouldnt doubt the fact that they would allow him into their clan/tribe. Thanks for this video AcidGlow :)
Fun connection theory: The predator that gave the armor and tools is The Fugitive from the next movie, The Predator. He wanted to see if Predator tech could be successfully modified for humans. Once his tests were complete he stole the Predator Killer suit and modified for humanity. Reason? The Predator Killer was a weapon made by the Super Predators. So here is a a second theory about the Super Predators, Four Armed Predator, and the Assassin/hybrid Predator that chased The Fugitive. The reason for the feuding between these 2 sub species, the standard Predators and the far larger Super Predators is theological in nature. The Standard Predators view bettering themselves by tactics, training, and technology. Where as the Super Predators view bettering themselves through genetic augmentation. This leads to a rift where the question is asked "How far can one genetically transform themselves and still be called a Predator." The Fugitive knew the Game Planet was a contest area where the two factions dueled to see whose ideology was superior. So The Fugitive delivered his prototypes to Royce knowing a augmented Super Predator was coming, the four armed Predator (this would help reason why Beserker was on the cover, same subspecies of genetically augmented Predators.) So knowing he could successfully modify Predator tech for humans he stole the Super Predator's Predator Killer Armor (their ultimate weapon against standard Predators) to give to the humans to help them fend off and upcoming invasion of Earth from the Super Predators. This also explains the Assassin/Hybrid Predator. He was sent to reclaim the suit so they could easily invade Earth. Why invade Earth? To do what no other Predator has done, completely wipe out the one species that has consistently killed Predators regardless of technological advantages (also because the Super Predators are by normal Predator standards Bad bloods who are all psychopaths 😆) So why then does The Fugitive want to help Earth. Because the enemy of my enemy is my friend. The Predators don't really care if we live or die they see an opportunity to not only; either completely eliminate the Super Predators, or just weaken their number, but also a chance to make themselves better. Remember Standard Predators believe in bettering themselves through the hunt so by strengthing humanity they now can strength themselves with more hunts. Where as the Super Predators believe in being the superior beings by taking the best genetics of every other species top specimens in the universe and adding their own genetic profile. So if they invaded Earth they could collect out most brilliant minds and tactical thinkers in mass. Which they could then use to attack the Standard Predators with. Again all this is a theory and only really holds any relevance if the Assasian/Hybrid and four armed Predator are the same Sub-species as the Super Predators from Predators. But it does make for some good head canon. 😆
WarOfTed - "Boba Fett in the Predator universe" Hold that thought and keep an eye on my channel for an upcoming look at a project I've been working on that mayyyy have a little something to do with that.
The Eternal Chronicler It's a cool concept and all, but in the movies and games and other media, the Predators use every means necessary to make sure that their technology would not fall into human (or other species) hands. So why would they make this exception? Could this clan have moved away from mainstream Predator ideals, or do they just suppose that eventually Royce and Isabela will die, and the tech will be reclaimed?
RetroicDescent The Preds do seem to have a code of honor/respect towards other warriors. Maybe they felt Royce was worthy of their tech if he beat a super predator by himself.
Wow. This is awesome. Some new info I had no idea was out there. Really cool to see what happened to the storyline after the movie was finished. Thanks
2:54 The prototype toy looks like something Kenner would design. Kenner Toys was the company that made the original Alien & Predator action figures in the early 90's.
After the first time I saw the movie I imagined a sequel scenario like this: Royce and Isabelle find another humans lead by no one other than Alan Dutch (who's been 20 years fighting predators after the OG film), the humans try to work as a team to get to a spaceship in a Predator basement. During the mission half of the team dies (Dutch sacrifices himself shouting our characters: Get to the Ship!!!), they scape but are found out by the clan of Predators that are in war with this faction. Predators and humans team up and participate on a Star Wars style war. At the end the survivors arrive to Earth and crash on a rural site of USA, but then they are found out by a mysterious gentleman who has a pirate
I would love to see further into this, the movie was amazing and seeing this made it a much more clear path as to why the predators are always so interested in humans. at this point I don't think they consider the xenomorphs the greatest prey but humans instead being the only other race to compete with them for galactic dominance and possibly the irradication of dangerous alien species that have the potential to destroy entire planets and rare species. just my thought
The character arc in predators was great loved how they grew and you learned more about them its unfortunate not enough people went to see it so that maybe they could have continues with Royce's story
Predator Armor for a human.. I would have loved to see that in a movie.. Awesome stuff. it would have been cool if the Predators would ask Royce to join them and then given him the Armor when he said yes ^.^
Keep it going....! What a tease! A human with predator weaponry made to order!?!?! Hell yes!!! I'll write the rest myself if I have too!!! I want more.
Just watched the movie , dont know the extreme details of this movies universe, ive seen the first, and im going to watch soon once again. Loved the reference to the first movie in (2010) predator. Based on the comments im skeptical to even watch the newest (2018) royces story is interesting, and they can go many ways with it. They need to come with a film somewhere between (2010) and the (2018) movie to if anything. Briefly give a “reasonable” and “logical” end to royces story. Watched many plot development and storyline videos . Even bought the comic just to put some missing pieces together. Royce’s story is honestly one of the best written and performed and would love to see Adrien Brody in a resolution to his charectors story. (Possibly even as an older royce) recalling his events on the reserve and how he (possibly) gets back to earth?
Well.on that planet, how human being should survive on the long run? They need plants, meat, water,ok water was available there, but i cant see any animal present or maybe outside the woods Giving predators stuff to a human being could be possible from psychological view, those humans prove them selfs as worthy, because they hunted down all remaining predators,so in theres eyes they are so tough so they deserve a fair fight,or it will be a humiliating for predators to hunt down a good pray and give them nothing to defend them selfs with only, just bare hands. So its nice idea gear up a humans as equally because the thrill is more higher.Next thing you should think to enter some other races for hunt like some alien human like barbaric tribes, and predators watching there fight, but when humans don't do the job, predators are sending 3 new hunters to clear the planet
You make a valid point with one small point missing. Assuming humans receive predator armor and tech as humans are incredibly curious and will with time not only modify the armor, but improve it. I couldn't even begin to imagine the terror a human modified predator setup would bring. Imagine a Gatling plasma caster or the wrist blades being able to launch. Humans at their finest, taking tech and making it "better".
Deathstrike maybe that's what predators partially want from ''worthy" humans to enhance their gear and after they DIE the predators take the gear and you know copy it
Makes sense considering that with the exception of the Xenomorph, humans are high on their list of favorite hunting beasts. They know humans are intelligent if technologically backwards compared to them. Given time and reverse engineering, humans could create a formidable armor (think Spartan armor from Halo) that would for an even more challenging hunt for them. That would be an awesome sight to see!
Deathstrike that's what I thought the humans ability to evolve without changing form makes predators curious of what would happen if they got predators technology
Awesome. Very well conceived. Of course I can't speak for the execution of the story as I have not read the comic, but I sincerely hope Royce is featured in the sequel. It'd be crazy to see this predator come up on you then stop before killing you as he takes off his mask. Of course this would be similar to Fishbournes character in Predators but it could be a cool way to do a callback to that scene while bringing something new and definitely way cooler to the table. Anyone agree??
I like the idea of the Yautja helping them and testing their strength, but even the Yautja go home after the hunt, would be cool to see they fight different aliens and then go home as a reward for their skill, a sequel movie about this would be cool.
I enjoyed predators 2010 for what it was. But I can certainly see why they didn’t make a sequel to it. It would probably be much of the same. Cool visuals and action scenes. But devoid of a story with any real weight to it. I mean unless they stumble across another friendly predator who is willing to give them a lift off of that planet, it would just be repeating the hunt over and over and over using different predators.
joining the predators would mean no more freedom. constantly on hunts until you die. their whole culture is based on hunting and improving, working on yourself to become more and more efficient hunter.
Wish there was a sequel in film would be cool to see Royce / Adrien Brody and Predator armor live on screen this is extremely significant because I also believe that he is the first significant male character to receive Predator armor. To my knowledge according to the books and the comic books in the extended universe Etc females and only females had received Predator armor. I could be wrong but that again is to my own knowledge. Great video.
My guess, is that they (Royce and Isabelle) are being used as some sort of sparring partner by the Predators just to see how much they can improve in their combat prowess, by analyzing their behavioural patterns and skills. You must remember, that the Predators love to sport themselves. There's a slight chance that the Predators knows another enemy, besides the Aliens, whom are just as dangerous and they are preparing themselves for it. Just a theory.
Wakka's Al Bhed Potion do you think that threat is the predator/alien hybrid that ran around causing chaos on earth? I mean they did have trouble eliminating just one of them and that they probably have evidence that there's more out there.
@jose garcia There's a possibility. The universe is pretty big, and the Predators and the Aliens are scattered all across the universe. There is a slight chance that there's already a large population of the hybrids somewhere. Or something far more different than the hybrids. Who knows what the writers can come up with at this point.
What would be cool is if they decided to release in theaters a new directors cut of the original Predator movie. Like what they did with the Star Wars episodes 4-6. With added scene's and CGI upgrades to enhance the background story. I would go see that in a HEARTBEAT.
the dropping of parachute does it indicate a new season? that doesnt make any sense since each season is supposed to be years apart and yet here they start dropping new preys right away?
*Hope you enjoyed this. What do you think about this story? ✅😀*

Open season.."
So i would very much have liked there to be a sequel where Royce does not end up as a trophy on somebody's wall.
Wasn't there a secret ending, where Dutch was coming out a Predator ship, dressed in predator armour, taking the two of them with him and his predator allies? He was even acted by Schwarzenegger.
This is by far the dumbest continuation story ever! Why would he abandon Isabel when he went came back to save her. This shit is so dumb.
This comic book was so awesome, I love how the Yautja recognize strength, they decide to keep him alive to furthur study his abilities and avareness. i wouldnt doubt the fact that they would allow him into their clan/tribe. Thanks for this video AcidGlow :)
I wish they would do a continuation of the Royce & Izzy story!
Loved this movie. Original, great story and great characters.
For Over A Decade I Wanted A Sequel Of Predators, I Still Do! I Want To Know More About Royce And Isabelle's Story.
To do what no other Predator has done, completely wipe out the one species that has consistently killed Predators regardless of technological advantages (also because the Super Predators are by normal Predator standards Bad bloods who are all psychopaths 😆)
So why then does The Fugitive want to help Earth.
They literally view him as an equal, wow....
I would like to see the story continued
That is not a ending to a story. So what happened to Royce?
I would definitely like to see more story that have human with the predator armor.
Same.
Not to mention, the Predators designed it specifically for humans to wear them. They are very thoughtful.
Its like boba fett in predator universe. Admit it ;)
WarOfTed - "Boba Fett in the Predator universe"
Hold that thought and keep an eye on my channel for an upcoming look at a project I've been working on that mayyyy have a little something to do with that.
That's dope! They should keep a story going
Wow. This is awesome. Some new info I had no idea was out there. Really cool to see what happened to the storyline after the movie was finished. Thanks
I think this story is very interesting. I would like to see and hear more of the extended.😏
What if that predator with 4 arms is the Predator 2.0 on the upcoming movie ´´The Predator´´ in 2018?
Yes , that is exactly what I thought as well.
EduardoTerrorGamer Would be good, but if they do, probably would be a CGI predator, which I don't like that part...
Only it's lower 2 arms need to be CGI, the rest is practical!
me to thats what i thought to
goro in mortal Kombat was practical...and that movie was made 22 years ago.
we need new movie predator & games.
THE PREDATOR we are getting one in either Feb or August
Standalone game for consoles. Not as a shooter but like a gta v like Predator game.
Predator 93 you happy now?
@@socialpsychos7471 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😑
2:54 The prototype toy looks like something Kenner would design. Kenner Toys was the company that made the original Alien & Predator action figures in the early 90's.
1:21 I actually though that was a baby predator
Damn, I think that comic would have been a better movie than the actual one.
Old Knight the avp comics/graphic novels were awesome. leave it to fox to ruin it 😢
So Machico wasn't the only one who got recognized by the Predators
What the fuck are you on
Men that would be the worst predator movie than 2018 movie
Everything described in this video would have made for an awesome sequel to Predators.
Predator as a whole just could’ve been way better if they approached it right smh
The director said “ that’s a rap”
And they went home
Damn these Predator comics are pretty badass
GORO PREDATOR RAGE !!!
that was exactly my first thought xD
Makes sense cause Goro has 4 arms and they're both in mkx as a DLC character.
Damn Preds got it on with Sheeva & that's their offspring!
Miguel Hughes Yes. Just yes.
@@DoctorMantisTob0ggan All Predators are FuckYautjas ;)
1:18 imagine having that !
Royce would not have just decided to be alone if for no other reason that makes no sense tactically.
The cover is what got me to buy some Aliens comics back in the day. There were no fights between the Black and Red Alien queen
i would definitely accept the challenge just to get that predator gear yo! thats sick! i want that gadgets!
So why aren't these comics made into movies???????????
u should make what happen to Mike harragon after predator 2.
Argonian Angel now that'd be an interesting story
He travels to brazil's fabelas to find out a predator is hunting there. Do not remember if this a novel or comic.
Pretty cool video man. Just got yourself another subscriber.
They should have made a comic series of Royce's next hunts.
I guess it didn't sell enough... It all kind of flopped, that's why they tried to move it in a different direction in 2018. Which wasn't a good idea.
I think that the story should have told us how Izabel and Royce escaped to earth
Keep it going....! What a tease! A human with predator weaponry made to order!?!?! Hell yes!!! I'll write the rest myself if I have too!!! I want more.
I would of loved this synopsis for a "Predators 2" movie. Also, the introduction of Machiko would play well with the fans IMO
Need more expansion
My opinion this was one of the better most successful of the franchise, shame we never got a sequel ..
so yautjas are still analyzing their capabilities by sending a super yautja?
nope super yaitja are outcasts of the normal yautjas normap yautjas hunt the super ones
They need plants, meat, water,ok water was available there, but i cant see any animal present or maybe outside the woods
Giving predators stuff to a human being could be possible from psychological view, those humans prove them selfs as worthy, because they hunted down all remaining predators,so in theres eyes they are so tough so they deserve a fair fight,or it will be a humiliating for predators to hunt down a good pray and give them nothing to defend them selfs with only, just bare hands.
Royce caught a cold and drowned in his own snot.
Legendary as fuck.
I like the idea of the Yautja helping them and testing their strength, but even the Yautja go home after the hunt, would be cool to see they fight different aliens and then go home as a reward for their skill, a sequel movie about this would be cool.
royc is a savage idc this man is my hero
I enjoyed predators 2010 for what it was. But I can certainly see why they didn’t make a sequel to it. It would probably be much of the same. Cool visuals and action scenes. But devoid of a story with any real weight to it. I mean unless they stumble across another friendly predator who is willing to give them a lift off of that planet, it would just be repeating the hunt over and over and over using different predators.
What happened with the ship he was trying to leave the planet on? I missed that part.
After going back for izzy mr black (the beserker pred) blows it up from his wrist computer.
I would love to see a sequel
have it go on that does not sound like a satisficing ending.
Chris Hansen has murdered more Predators than the producers of the next predator movie
They need to add predators to injustice
dsanchezc3 they won’t cuz mortal combat has them probably
Royce receiving predator armor and equipment, makes the 1715 Flintlock from P2 seem like a congratulations gift card to a Rolls-Royce
Still waiting for Predators to become a TV series
Royce after Predators 2010 sequel comic book then that begins to set up for the original Alien versus Predator movie
I like to see him join the predators becuz he's s warrior and deserves some sort of respect n freedom .. Being a prisoner ain't kool
joining the predators would mean no more freedom. constantly on hunts until you die. their whole culture is based on hunting and improving, working on yourself to become more and more efficient hunter.
Goddamn now I want to see a four armed predalien!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hopefully the Yautja decide to make Royce and Izzy honorary members. Maybe then they could go back home.
kind of messed up they don't send them home.
@jose garcia
There's a possibility.
The universe is pretty big, and the Predators and the Aliens are scattered all across the universe. There is a slight chance that there's already a large population of the hybrids somewhere. Or something far more different than the hybrids. Who knows what the writers can come up with at this point.
Aside from the 4 armed Predator, this whole plot is pretty neat. Would have liked to see that as a movie.
There is only one Machiko Noguchi. She is the only one who has earned her place among the Predators imo.
Brandon Stapleton bullshit royce and Isabel both earned the right to be among the predators and hunt with them
Lore Theorist no
Awesome video hope u make lots more
Prehistoric mandalorion
They definitely need to conclude Royce's adventure before any new movie.
that is a mutant predator
I'm all up for a sequel. I think the Alien and Predator franchise need some damn justice to the core.
Thanks for the video but I am glad I didn't read that comic.
Very underated movie. Yes it had ref's from previous movies quotes etc but the settings etc made it refreshing. Should of made sequels
Only one is a berserker predator
What would be cool is if they decided to release in theaters a new directors cut of the original Predator movie. Like what they did with the Star Wars episodes 4-6. With added scene's and CGI upgrades to enhance the background story. I would go see that in a HEARTBEAT.
Now the bigger question, Should this be in the next Predators movie?
the dropping of parachute does it indicate a new season? that doesnt make any sense since each season is supposed to be years apart and yet here they start dropping new preys right away?
