Just wait till it's on sale for $10 dollars 3-4 months from now. That's what I did for supercross 5.
I feel the same way, I’ve owned every sx but I can’t keep paying 60$ for different iterations of the same thing
Take this for what you want but I’ve owned every single game and yes they all play the same and feel the same however I think this has a good mix of the last 3 games and I personally enjoy it the most out of the rest of em the tracks are super fun. I was hesitant bc I didn’t like 5 and stuck to playing 3 and 4 but I personally say if you look past the factor of it not changing a drastic ammount and just enjoy the new tracks and little new things to the physics it’s a lot of fun the inside corners are pretty fun as well but like I said take that for what it is worth🤷🏻♂️
@@kaiseryork1081 I don’t disagree and I’m sure I’ll get it eventually for the new tracks. $60 for new tracks is just too much IMO and I’ll wait for a sale. Good game but it’s got get an overhaul for me to be really interested again
What if for Futures they used tracks from the previous SX season. That way it would feel like you did Futures the year before you turned pro.
This is what I was thinking and I’m glad someone else said it first. It’s a brilliant idea, they literally could just pull the track over from the previous game, it’s literally already made… and it would feel so much more legitimate without re riding the same tracks as futures.

We are 8 rounds in to the 2023 season and you (today) released a *new* game based on a series that ended 10 months ago. You've gotten this feedback 6 years in a row and have not improved. Since you've copy/pasted the last 3 games, I'm sure you can copy/paste the following into google translate to get the gist of my point:
- The targeted release date should be Q2 of the year that you are basing the series on. For example, MESX6 should release May 12th and be based on the 2023 season. This gives the entire SX season to build hype for the game, and show initial gameplay/demo by mid-season.
- Laser scanning tracks sounds great, but this is nothing more than a gimmick when your physics are arcade. Your game is not a simulator, so the track building shouldn't be either. Build the tracks based on the track maps released in October of the previous year (for example Oct 13, 2022 for the 2023 season). Don't even bother tweaking them to match the real life tracks, just figure out how to get the AI to take somewhat realistic lines around them without crashing every lap.
- The new bike models are public knowledge by Jan 1, 2023 at the latest. That gives you 5 months to make and refine them. Suzuki, Honda, Kawasaki, and KTM did you a favor and made no significant changes from the 2022.5 bikes they raced last season, so focus on the new Yamaha, GasGas, and Husqvarna. If you're getting model details from factory teams then 3 bikes shouldn't be more than a 3 month process.
- You don't add a significant amount of new gear so 5 months should be plenty of time to model the 2 new helmets and 10 new color choices for the same gear we've had in years past. Real gear DLC is something I would purchase. I will never purchase glowing, animated, holographic, or neon gear.
- Physics don't improve significantly and obviously terrain deformation isn't something you can figure out, so just keep physics and deformation the same (people are going to complain regardless) and focus the last 2-3 months of your development time on making the braindead AI to go around the 2023 tracks in a somewhat competitive manner.
Releasing a game about the 2023 season in 2023 would go farther than any of the improvements you've made over the last 6 years. I know there are people within the studio that agree. Please give us a reason to continue purchasing your games so we don't have to go back to the dark ages of no supercross games.

Are you not ashamed of the fact that the **official videogame** of the Monster Energy Supercross series is never used to preview or showcase this upcoming weekend's supercross track? Kellen, Donnie, and many other MX RUclips channels do track previews and discussions while playing a game, and you don't give them a chance to promote your product.
first off mate this is kellen not milestone the chances they see your college level essay is that of none. yes the games are ALWAYS based on the year before so when we do get the game it’s technically out dated but have you factored in the time it takes to make these games? you lads have got to remember for a very long time we weren’t getting any motocross games at all and for a short while we didn’t know if we were going to get any again. if i were you (which im not so you take this how you want) id be happy we even got a motocross game we can play and shit on for it being a replica of the last 3 games in hopes milestone takes the hint and actually tries to fix it for the better. and if that doesn’t work mx bikes and mx sim are always a click away.

The cut scenes when their helmets are off is absolutely hilarious. It looks like everyone been dipped in baby oil. So shinny, if I was Jo Shimoda I would be pissed right now, the model they used for him is straight up horrifying 😂 looks like a N64 dude or PS1 😂
For every improvement 6 makes upon previous versions (better bike physics, better compound, multiplayer cross console) it has a quirk that is infuriating. My least favorite is that if you go off track, it tends to put you back to wherever you left the track, even if you make the effort to get back on the track as soon as possible.
Is it worth the upgrade over 5? Windham 151 is happy with 6 and likes it more, but doesn't feel it's great enough to justify a near $100 on the game over 5.

yes i think yes i love it the offical tracks are so awsome detailed.. but its far away from a perfect sx game... i love the new physics the bikes feels mutch heavier!!
@@samohtlp1985I like the heaviness too. I personally love what THQ/Rainbow is doing, but it's better suited to outdoors. There's room for both games, but though the track design is good, I feel like the inner berms are a killer when I like to cut down in supercross.
I won't buy it unless both of my sons want to give this year a try...then I'm buying 3 copies 🤣🤣🤣. But, I do like certain parts of the "flow". However, I REALLY wish they'd restructure their contract, do one new game every couple of years, and simply update the tracks, teams, riders, bikes, every year. That way they could do what THQ and put more time into implementing what everyone is asking for over that 2-3 year process.
The physics are driving me nuts. Having a hard time enjoying it so far…
I don't game a lot but the last Supercross game I got was 3 which I still play up until today when I got 6. The difference is pretty wild jumping several versions. The 2 most noticeable things is the bike feels "heavy" as you said but also I hate the new cameras. It feels very shaky or wobbly. Maybe 4 and 5 were also like this but so far 3 was a much smoother game.
4 is the best imo

Even on the hardest difficulty? That’s my issue with mx vs atv legends is I put it on the hardest difficulty day 1 and win by like 30 seconds. At least in supercross 3 on the hard difficulty you can get decent battles

First, I haven't bought one since 4, and after that experience if I play one of these (rarely because my kids and I have more fun on Legends and All Out) I just go back to 2 or 3.
However, because I primarily pay with them, we do have fun on some of the more simple tracks just flying around. So, I don't mind tracks like this...I like building tracks like this...but, these are EXACTLY the same. That kinda sucks.
I’m happy that this came out I’m in joying the game and stuff but the camera for like third person is like too close and it’s pretty difficult for me to ride in third person.Funny thing is last year I was really liking the first person gameplay and this year it’s messed up.
Been a while since a bought motocross game should I buy this one or Mxgp 21 ?

So, Milestones has real life riders with real life riding styles and personalities. These games are often compared to games like Madden and other yearly sports games. If they're barely going to touch the gameplay every year, why not give the real life riders different stats and abilities to give them personality?
Like, the 0-100 scale on multiple attributes? Plus, something along the "franchise" modes where riders grow, age, retire, and new riders come in. It would take a stale game and make it much more interesting.
I’ve been saying this for years, it would make them so replay-able and give people so much more creativity through out the year
Right? Like stats 50-99 overall for cornering, speed, rythm, flow, etc, similar to madden

I wonder if the AI gets harder the more you play. Many games set the AI skills lower during a players first few times playing to stop them from just being smoked by AI and taking the fun out of the game. Similar to skill based match making.
I say this about everyone but this one I mean it. It feels like I’m playing a excite bike on Nintendo. The last sx5 I played soooooo much I have like 125,000,000 career points and I loved that game compared to mxgp 2021. But this one seems like it’s going to disappoint highly. They didn’t even update the skins🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️ and they changed how you set up the bike which seems way harder to find the right set up. I’m hoping it wears on me and I love it once I’m off futures mode

The AI need a serious patch- they are so slow it's ridiculous. It's like Realistic AI are just the same as if it was on easy mode. During qualifying, they'll go 6 seconds a lap faster than me, but during the races I'll get the holeshot every time and by lap 2 already be 12 seconds out front.
Ive been on SX2 for a while now its really just the same game with slight better graphics on pc its just the same game

I'm sure just give it a few hours of practice and you'll be killing them too. I'm guessing that you're trying to ride with them like you would in real life and they end up forcing crashes? That's what always happens to me until I just ignore the ai.

Really disappointed with graphics terrain looking the worst in a long time and physics are off. In 5 the riders clipped through the bike all wonky but terrain wasn't this bad. I think 4 was the best looking by far and that's why I still play it when I have 5 and 6. As far as tracks for Futures I would much rather have different tracks. My biggest issue with all of them has been grinding a full season on 250 and by the time you get on the 450 you've raced half the tracks and I get burnt out. I wish they would use tracks from 5 for 250 class then all new tracks for 450 career. Then it would be nice to have the option to play both. MXGP does the same with classic tracks and bikes even allows you to race full classic seasons.

sad to say cause i love supercross and the games but not gonna buy this one basically just supercross 5 from what i see makes me upset and honestly lose hope for the game getting any better seems like they don’t really care about it.
2023 and still no ruts and the track doesn't break down etc..what a joke

I understand no ruts, but no track deformation like breaking / acceleration bumps, is pathetic.
@@MichaelAMyers1957 MXGP 2021 had that and it's terrible. The problem is the physics in these games won't work with ruts. Which is probably why they're not there
@@blythe1599 Idk if you played mx vs atv encore but Seattle in that game was perfect as far as deformation. It was pretty realistic in the sense that you could hit sections early in the race but not late in the race because the faces rutted out. If supercross could copy that some how for all the tracks the game could be way better

I cannot even comprehend how anyone could play this game in 3rd person. It looks, feels, and plays _excruciatingly_ poorly in 3P. First-person is so much better in literally every conceivable way that I'm not entirely convinced it isn't using a completely different, more robust and accurate physics model.
Of course, based on what I've seen, the 1P camera in this game sucks compared to 4 and 5. Milestone should not have the exclusive license. Give it to the MX Bikes developers, along with sufficient funding to hire the help they would need to build MX Bikes into a fully-featured, officially-licensed product.

They gave supercross 5 out on ps5 for free a couple of months ago. Played it twice and then deleted it. These games are trash and going backwards. The first two games were way better.

You cant expect this game to change to much because of what it is ...But because everybody crys that this game is copy and paste they feel the need to change the way the bike feels and handles and every uear the game has gotten wrost and now SX 6 GAMEPLAY LOOKS LIKE ITS IN SLOW MOTION AND THIS GAME IS GARBAGE ....The carrier mode could be ao much better you could start off in motocross and than work your way to supercross but that will never happen !!
