No other boy band can match their charisma 😍😍
This boy band was the epitome of what a team should be.
They were all one band and each one of them made up the band but each of them were still individual and their each individuality was still celebrated as a human.
Most of their songs has a lead singer for that one particular song but the whole band was singing and doing instruments for the same song as well. Their albums had each individual member sing the lead for 1-2 each so that not one individual got haughty and conceited. Can't say the same for the rest of the groups of that time.
Their (90's) Christmas album is a perfect example of what I'm talking about. All their albums are like that.

I watched this over and over back in the day, until my damn VCR ate it. OMG it was the most traumatic day of my life. I sat there for days trying to fix it with tape but it didnt work. I still have nightmares about that day.

This made me crack up! The same thing happened to me with the “Hangin’ Tough” tape, I purchased another one and still have it to this day.
It was traumatic when it happened, though, so I get it.

Can't stand people who criticize them. They were by far the best band of all time and showed other people how to actually be a band. Set the record for many of the bands to come. There are no real boy bands now. It's so sad. Some of the new generation doesn't get how popular and good they really were. Now people are Fangirling over 1 direction who can't even dance. Brings back soooo many memories growing up to listening to them , loved the New Kids on the Block. I loved this VHS played it soooo much, miss these times, I’m 40 now. I remember when I went to see them at the Thanksgiving Day Parade in NYC it was great I remember running after the float it was great !!!!!

For those wondering…that long piece of hair in the back was called a “duck tail”. It was a way for guys to grow at least a piece of their hair long in the 80’s. What makes this group so special is that they did everything right. NO AUTOTUNE!! They sang, danced,played instruments, wrote music and always put on an amazing show. I was a fan then and I’m still a fan today. ❤
It's a rat tail. Duck tail hair cut is when the hair is trimmed short, parted & feathered in the back

I’ll never forget the narrator guy saying each of the guys names before they came out on stage and I thought the roof was going to come off the arena!! Without a doubt THEE most hype concert I’ve ever been to. No concert I’ve seen 30 years since then has even come close. People were losing their damn minds as soon as they busted out on stage!!!! Yay, my boy band! I remember in the local paper at the time, the letters section was often full of arguments over NKOTB, with boys being like, "They sukk," and girls defending them. The paper's music writer weighed in with an observation that the group members were good role models for the young fans because of their anti-drug message.
I would love to have all those memories of nkotb and Jordan knight back and still amazing, great, wonderful and still going strong.
