Unfortunately, that's my home park! I'd like to see Roar get either the Iron Horse or Titan Track treatment.
But at least in 2021 they're getting Harley Quinn Spinsanity (Giant Discovery).

I may have misunderstood this video. I thought you were going to talk about defunct coasters. I was looking forward to hearing about Shockwave and Tidal wave at Six Flags Great America along with other defunct coasters, but I still enjoyed the video and I understand what you were showing. 😀

Technically Batman and robin the chiller and ultra twister were relocated, but they are in storage. Plus shockwave, the intamin standup operated at magic mountain until 1988, and moved to great adventure in 1990, then was moved to astroworld in 1993

All eventually got scrapped as the original plans fell through, or the ride was damaged when they got dismantled.

Python operated at SFA (then known as adventure world) from 1993 through 1998 and was replaced by two face for the 1999 season. As we know two face was later replaced by raging cajun as a result of the numerous malfunctions that two face endured during it's time at the park.

From Great Adventure, The Chiller was sold to Beto Carrero World, in Brazil. Rumors say it's been scrapped after being in storage for years.

Hi, I'm from Brazil and I want to point some things about the video:
First of all, great video bro! But there are some informations missing or not totally correct.
    1) I'm not sure if you're talking about only the relocations coasters which came to operate later, but SF Great Adventure had their "Batman and Robin: The Chiller" that was sold to Beto Carrero World here in Brazil. The roller coaster was kept in storage but in 2018 the park gave up in building it due to the high maintenance problems and cost (and also due to a change in park's plans and vision). Now it's demolished. Beto Carrero is the biggest Theme Park in Latin America, and second in public anually attendence (just behind - but very close - to Six Flags Mexico).
    2) The Deja vú from SF Over Georgia which was send to Mirabilandia Brazil wasn't built yet not because the park didn't have the budget, but mainly because the land that the park sits now doesn't belong to them, and the real owners has been asking for the land back. This is a problem the park has been facing since 2010, now they're building a new park in a new terrain (which now belongs to them), and the Deja Vú is expected to be built there.

Six Flags America could be on the honorable mentions. They had a pipeline Togo from Astroworld sitting in a field. It was never built. And to tie it all in, it originally came from Great Adventure before it even went to Astroworld.
As for Great Adventure, Shockwave was also moved around too.

  • @maaltagabriel
    @maaltagabriel 4 года назад +1

Mirabilandia in Brazil didn't open the Giant Inverted Boomerang because the park is moving to a new location, still under construction. They wanted to open it at their current site, but it would be too costly to do so, and so they´re waiting.

Over Georgia got Great America's Schwartzkopfs shuttle loop coaster in 1995 as Viper, and was relocated to Kentucky Kingdom in 2003 with parts from California Great America's own Shuttle loop. It was removed from KK when the park reopened in 2014.

I remember The Viper at Over Georgia from the early 2000s. I also remember the DejaVu coaster that seemed to spend about as much time down for maintenance as it did actually running.

Last year, I was in Baltimore for a convention and a friend of mine got ticket for us for Six Flags America, because why not. Rode Firebird there just a few months after its refurbishment. Was okay, but nothing special.
Only reason why I'd ever go back to Six Flags America would be for Batwing and Wild One (both were closed when I visited).

It was btw. owned and operatet by the Oskar Bruch who now opperates olympia looping.
