    Thanks for the detailed review! I just picked one of these up for £200 second hand and it's absolutely amazing

    Kudos for considering that multi-device for 1 monitor situation. It is not an issue for me at the moment but keen eye for detail.

    Considering that a few years ago you spent €1000 for a 4k monitor which only did 100 Hz I would consider this good progress. However, what we really need is some pixel-lighted technology getting affordable, like OLED, because I am done with all this backlight-bleeding but I would like more screen real-estate on a single monitor, that does come in handy especially when you use tiling window management. Of course we do have this problem of the graphics card market having crashed and you do need a good graphics card to drive it for gaming. I have a 1440 144 Hz IPS monitor so it would be a nice addition for me, having 1 4k monitor.

    Nice to see this price point for a 4k monitor.

    Can I use HDMI to DP cable with PS5 and still get 4k120hz?

    I have the 32 model it was my first curved over30 in and aside from how wobbly it is,it is a hella good monitor that doesn't break the bank...

    No point of buying without HDMI 2.1 (IMO)

      Could you elaborate on that? Why exactly?

    • @Keemochi420
      @Keemochi420 2 года назад +1

      @@barbarawatanabe2101 for PS5 players its a problem you cant use 4k 120hz only 60hz if your monitor dont have HDMI 2.1 but for PC its worth it I think because it has DP 1.4 and it can run 144hz 4k

      @@Keemochi420 Exactly, he forgot monitors are not for PS players only. 8 months later, I am reading your response on my desktop setup with two AOC U28G2XU monitors, both set for 4k@144Hz. I connected them via DP1.4 to my computer.

    I looked on their website today and I failed to see anything regarding G-sync or Freesync... Then I reached your video.
    After watching it I went back to their website (because I'm curious of course) and searched via CTRL+F and F12 to see if these 2 keywords "G-sync" and "freesync" where there somwehere. AND IT WAS, but they just hidden it hahahahah so weak... so f!@$ing weak.

    Why are you nit picking on the buttons when you are reviewing a budget monitor and when looking at mid to budget pricing, you should really focus on the screen it's self. nit the wobbly stand or menu buttons... lmao 😁 everything you complained about on it's visual properties are par for the course for the price and resolution. otherwise you'd be paying a ton more money for better quality.
