I hardly leave comments. But, I just bought a guitar and decided teach myself (since I can’t afford a pro 😂😂). I’m newer to country and just learned of Tyler within these last 12 months. However, the first time I heard this song (a little over a month ago) I fell in absolute love. So much so that I bought a guitar to play it. Mr. Childers is such an inspiration and you’ve done a great job with this video. Now, onto getting my nails chopped (😢😢) and learning the switching of chords with all my fingers and the moving all around and in between the frets etc. etc. My left wrist already hurts. But, this is going to be an exciting and fun journey. Oh! And, nice voice btw.
Thank you so much for the wonderful comment Rachel! I hope you stick with it. Guitar can come rather slowly at first, with a very serious struggle on the "moving your fingers properly" part. Before you know it you'll be able to move between all the chords and then play any song you desire. If you haven't already been told, almost all musicians are using an app called Ultimate Guitar, it will have almost any song you'll want to learn and the chords of how to play it. Happy learning Rachel!
@@jonhoggard thanks so much! I will say that the c chord kinda took me out and set me back some. 😬😬 But, am learning beats to exercise around it. Like practicing with just 1st fret B, 2nd fret D. Until, I can make the stretch with my other finger. lol As far as the app, I’ve heard of it. I guess I’ll download it. I thought it was mostly for tuning. And, I have digital one. So. lol I also just broke my first string while trying to tune, the other day. I’m not happy about it. But, I got some new ones coming today. I’ll have fun learning how to change out the strings. 🤣🤣
tabs.ultimate-guitar.com/user/tab/view?h=fXeK7TgNwF37k04RLAahAz-w I updated the link, let me know if you still can't get it to work. Ultimate guitar is pretty glitchy.
Ultimate Guitar is such a pain in the butt. Here's a link to a Google photos folder with screenshots of the tab. Not as convenient as pulling it up on ultimate guitar but I hope it helps. Sorry for the initial delayed response, and thanks for the support! photos.app.goo.gl/UvzX5t5Xd7QudQC8A
Thank you! I’ve been waiting so long for a decent tutorial of this song, Any others are so vague. I’m still struggling with the strumming pattern. Help! Lol
Awesome, I'm glad I could help! I'm still struggling to be as clear and to the point as possible. It's difficult to explain everything or touch on all points when you're not teaching in person. To be honest, I've got a pretty unhealthy habit of using pretty much the same strumming pattern for all songs. I almost religiously use some variation of ↓ ↓↑ ↑↓↑
@@stephenfeist9500 Also I will work on a more clear and concise version of the lady may tutorial! In the meantime, watch for my tutorial of "Her and the Banks" coming soon!
@@connormason2036 I certainly think they're worth it. eBay has some for sale but their names are usually removed or a sticker is placed over the logo so they don't get caught as easily but you can just remove the sticker. My family and friends have legit j200s and you'd be hard pressed to see or hear a difference.
A capo is a device a musician uses on the neck of a stringed instrument to transpose and shorten the playable length of the strings-hence raising the pitch.

Whats thw strumming pattern after the intro😊
Sounds great thanks for your help💯💯
Thankyou, I'm glad you enjoyed!
Can you do Nose on the grindstone?
Sure, I can do that for you!
From each chord
Goddamn guitar is such a complicated instrument
Is that a Gibson SJ-200?????
This is actually an imitation knock off from overseas. It's still a fantastic instrument, I just can't justify the money that a J200 demands.
@@jonhoggardare the imitations worth it and where would I be able to find some like that?

What is a capo?
Idk, I just seen it in a Taylor Swift music video once

Something that Tyler Childers also uses.
You remind me of Kermit the frog
LMAO thanks!
What key is this in
It should be in the key of Bm if my music knowledge serves me correctly!
