Good rant video! I have not seen this movie of these years since I found out the negative reception to this movie so I was put off by the movie. And I forgot how awful Conrad was to his mother, that was frustrating. But I know you’re going to be shocked by this. I have some tiny positives for this movie. I will say that I like the soundtrack for this movie and I’m surprised they have Smash Mouth for the songs. The Kupkake-inator scene is the most hilarious scene of the movie, and the Mom’s boss yelling you’re fired is hilarious. And not to mention you mimicking the boss telling the Director of the movie you’re fired is hilarious. 12:55 I was quite surprised when you said you would be a dummy to think that this is a good movie, I hope you won’t offend anybody who likes this movie. And not to mention that the costume design of the cat that looks horrendous and he looks scary in real life and I wouldn’t blame anybody if they have nightmares seeing Mike Myers as the Cat in the hat when they are watching the movie as kids. So yeah I’m not sure if I watch this movie anytime soon, and I heard Warner Bros. are making a computer animated adaptation to the Cat in the Hat movie, I hope that movie will make up for this. I’ll probably watch the cartoon version of The Cat in the Hat.

HAHA The Cat in the Hat who crapped on the mat OMG LOL Hilarious extreme rant man. This film is an utter disgrace. Dr Seuss' writing. The added filler doesn't work like the locking the crate plot, Alec Baldwin as Lawrence the mum's boyfriend, the Babysitter and the Mum's job stuff. The humour is terrible and in a lot of cases inappropriate. Mike Myers is just too damn annoying in this part, his makeup and outfit looks great, but the writing and acting is just terrible. The kids are okay bless them but really haven't been given the best direction. The production design is great and that is the problem, the movie is directed by a production designer so it does look authentic to the world, but what suffers is everything else. Bo Welch is not an experienced director and it shows, he couldn't tell a story to save his life. The music score is one of the only decent things about the movie. Its also a boring drag to sit through and even the songs can't save this. The humour it awful, its an utter car crash of a movie. I can't believe they had a scene where the Cat and the kids go into a stripper club WTF!!!! What a way to crap on Dr Seuss' book. An easy 0/10 for this travesty
