At its core, law of detachment involves putting an end to the fight. It's about embracing the present and trusting that things are happening as they should, even without our involvement. It's all about letting go of the constant need to have control over every single aspect of our lives and instead, having faith in the organic rhythm of things. Understanding surrender is not about being inactive; it's about taking purposeful action from a state of surrender.
Many people seek control because they are afraid of what they don't know and crave a sense of security. Yet, the harder we attempt to manipulate every result, the clearer it becomes that genuine control is merely a mirage. Actually, trying to have complete control over everything can actually make us feel even more helpless. Letting go of control involves recognising that there are things outside of our control and being willing to release the desire to excessively manage every little thing.
Letting go of control involves developing trust and belief in the universe or a higher power. It's all about having faith that everything has a purpose and there is a bigger plan in motion. Having faith in the process enables us to release the desire to constantly control and arrange results. It enables us to explore new opportunities and align ourselves with the natural flow of life.
