In this episode, we start the trip in Tromso and make our way to the island of Senja. After waking in Senja we then make our way to the town of Svolvaer via a ferry crossing and stops at several iconic and beautiful viewpoints.
The video ends with some spectacular views of the midnight sun in Henningsvær and Grimsoy Church - perfectly captured with the view from the drone.

Awesome footages....
Lofoten is on our list - both summer and winter. Though Longyearbyen may be at the top of the list. Can’t believe the sunshine you got!! New subs here. Cool to see how our paths may crisscross.
Ah yes, a trip to Svalbard would be amazing!
Man you're incredibly underrated!
Thanks for watching 😄
Amazing video! How was the weather in June?
Many thanks 🙂 we were fairly luckily with the weather with most of the week being warmer than usual and sunny. We had a few days of cloud and rain however. I believe July and August are the traditional summer months to visit, although that will mean it’s busier.
In that part of the world, you can never guarantee the conditions and is quite changeable 🙂 hope that helps!
Informative video beautifully captured.
Can I drive all the way from tromso to lofoten by car in winter? How long it takes?
Hi, many thanks - I believe it’s fine in the winter on the main roads. I’m not sure about the ferry schedule in the winter, which may affect your route (the ferry we took was available only in the summer). The Norwegian roads are very well maintained and I imagine the rental car will be fully prepared. Hope that helps
@@olliewatts thanks for your reply. But is it necessary to take ferry? Can’t I drive all the way to and fro between tromso and lofoten
@@barnalibhattacharjee5640 no you don’t need to take the ferry, there’s a more direct route available between Tromso and the islands
Nice intro. Thanks. Which month is your visit ?
Thanks - we went mid June 🙂
