    Shell. Thank you so much for uploading this wide range of videos. To be anke to listen to articulate, well enunciated, intelligent narration on a yopic of substance, skill or worthy endeavour is a rare treat. So much of contemporary content is so childlike and sensationalist watching is pointless and infuriating. I have learned some basics on the dpeed of sound, and watched the wheelwrights make shirt work of a highly skilled task.... but I suspect any subject communicated in such quality would hold my interest. Thank you and please keep them coming.

    Thank you for this. I have never quite grasped this concept and now I will never forget it. My father was a USAF pilot, test pilot in his early career, in the early 1950's. He flew many planes in his career including those supersonic. Sadly, he never spoke of it, at least not to me.

      Well too bad he had to abide by govt security rules. Sorry your father was closed-off. Not a very healthy mental state of mind. Thank goodness families have fathers laying a larger role of caring for children and supporting their career-minded wives!

      @@paulazemeckis7835 My father was the best there could possibly be. He understood how to give good things to his children and he loved and supported my mother to no end. He lived an exemplary life.

    Thank you for uploading this. I got the same film as an technicolor 35mm print in my collection. Projected on a screen, the colours are stunning.

    How did they film the pilot at 6:11

    • @bobbank74
      @bobbank74 11 месяцев назад +3

      A chase plane for the external, and a mounted camera for the interior. I would imagine that shot was filmed in the cockpit of the Canberra where there was a bit more room than inside the Hunter which was used for the external shot.

    The entire movie reminds me of the Feynman lectures of physics, leaving out any unnecessary mathematical terms.
